Lovely friendly and efficient ladies serving, shop looked super clean and organized. Order was completed quickly, good value for money and was a resounding hit with the family, will definitely be back as our regular chip shop doesn't open on a Saturday lunch but this shop does. Well done team.
Under new ownership, so ignore old reviews and menus. The new owners are extremely friendly and have a real passion for fish and chips that I have not seen anywhere.Servings are good size portions and made to perfection. Curry is next level. This will soon give Old Mother Hubbards a run for its money. Highly recommend.Plenty of parking space is available at the side car park.

Our Inlaws live in Stalybridge, when we visit we are regulars at the Oxford Street Chippy. The food (usually Steak Pudding, Chips n Gravy or Fish n Chips) is plentyful and delicious served by a fantastic team. I wouldn't o anywhere else and can't wait o visit again VERY soon. Ps... I live in Cornwall & the Gish n Chips here is only equalled by Francines of Newquay & St Austell
