Wow! What a treat! Decided to spoil myself this evening and I've been looked after from start to finish. But the food? Outstanding! The staff are so accommodating! I'm very impressed and I'm a very fussy eater. Thank you so much for such an amazing dining experience! 5 stars hands down!

Fantastic take out, reasonably priced and promptly delivered. The only advice I would give is that the curry we ordered (chicken chilli masala) was described as 'very hot', but it was more like a medium heat. But this may just be subjective taste. We will definitely be ordering from here time and time again.

8 of us went for a pre-Xmas meal. Other people in there were served before us and plenty of takeaway orders were going out. Almost an hour before we got poppadoms and it was almost 3 hours before we'd finished.Food was so-so. No apparent differentiation between dishes.By the time we got out, on a Sat night, almost all the pubs and bars were closing or not letting people in for last orders.

The food was great, yet the wine is awful . We tried both the white and the rose and none of them tasted nice. Such a shame as the service and food were very good, and the wine is the only thing that puts me us all off going again.

You know how, sometimes, you have an expectation of a place, and sometimes, the actual event somehow falls short....Well, not this time.I finally got down to the Eastern Eye again, and once again, they delivered.After 15 years of the Antipodean alternative, my Madras and Kingfisher knocked my socks off.A superbly balanced and perfectly cooked curry with mushroom pilau, naans, and chapatis, complete with attentive and efficient service from intelligent and pleasant waiters in a fantastic surround - what's not to like!Highly, highly recommended, even without the memories.Thank you Eastern Eye. I will surely be back again next time I fly over.
