Ordered from JustEat. Delivery driver turned up with an UberEats bag. Gave it back and rang the restaurant. They said the driver would come back and then deliver my order. 30mins later nothing, so rang again. Started shouting at me saying order was delivered as soon as driver picked it up, take it up with the driver. I asked how I was supposed to do that, they put phone down. Rang again, no interest in solving problem for regular customer, not interested that they had ruined our evening and we had no food, told us to take it up with justeat and again put the phone down. Didn’t say sorry once. I accept mistakes can be made on a busy Sat eve and it may have been the drivers fault but absolutely appalling customer service and no interest in resolving problem. Will never use them again and I was a regular customer.

The nicest lamb Balti I’ve ever had. The flavours were incredible and the meat incredibly tender - no fat whatsoever. The keema naan bread was also cooked beautifully. Also really enjoyed their popadoms - the green sauce is homemade and very tasty - with some spice. Chatted to the new owner for a while. Really nice guy who really takes pride in his food. Keep up the good work! ?

Ordered takeaway from Just Eat; they totally messed the order - several items were not delivered! When we tried to sort this out with the takeaway they were totally unhelpful. I will NEVER order anything from Green Pepper or Just Eat

Booked for New Year’s Eve 2weeks before and when we turned up told that we would have to wait another 30 minutes because they couldn’t get us in at our time. And other customers had been waiting as long.Don’t think we will bother again.

Christmas lunch. Fantastic. We opted for the indian menu. Pickle tray, great green sauce today. Mains of chicken tikka masalla and chickea and potato curry spot on. Bhajis really good too. Followed by a large wedge of chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Really excellent meal today. Thank you ?

This restaurant is a hidden gem. If you like Indian food you're in for a tasty treat. It's BYOB so you can have a tipple too. Very clean and friendly place. I'll definitely be back.

Hidden Treasure - delicious foodNot sure my expectations were that high. Green Pepper is a simple storefront with a minimalist but functional restaurant eating area. No fripperies here, just a focus on eating. There are some great images of green peppers on the walls, but not much else.It turned out to be a real hidden treasure. Friendly service, a wide range of dishes, and excellent food. It's a BYOB restaurant with a Co-Op and several other nearby places that sell wine and beer. Rather than being negative, the idea of not paying restaurant drink prices is appealing.A pile of poppadoms started us out. They were fresh, grease-free, and accompanied by four excellent sauces. We ordered onion bhajis and prawn pati as a starter for the table. My companions loved the pati, swearing to order it again. This bodes well for the rest of the meal. The four curries we followed with were absolutely first-class. I like a really spicy dish and was not disappointed. The naan was fantastic, and the rice was fluffy and fresh. We left full and satisfied, having paid a modest amount for our meal.Lovely job! They deserve to do well. Eat in if you can, or grab some take-out and enjoy.Vegetarian options: Several dishes that are vegitarian.

This is a small unassuming place and we visited for a curry last week. The menu is decent with a couple of nice Bengali dishes under the chefs specials, I tried one but honestly cannot remember the name of it. Excellent tasty food, good service, nothing to fault, If you like a drink , it's BYO

I visited The Green Pepper on the 30 December 2021 with my parents. To say that the food was wonderful would be an understatement. The lady that served us was was very friendly and provided an excellent service looking after us.The place is well located with a carpark close by and a bus stop. The restaurant doesn't have an alcohol license but there are shops over the road if you wish to bring your own. They provide glasses if you do bring alcohol and they do sell soft drinks if you don't.They also provide a takeaway service.I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good Indian curry.

Very good food and good value for money. Been quite a few times as it is local. You can take your own wine which is excellent.

Ordered a takeaway tonight asked if they could deliver said 15 minutes so asked if we could collect only took them 10 minutes to cook no one can cook a proper curry in that length of time. The staff were very full on trying to get us when we was only looking at the menu on the window , prices were overpriced won’t be going back there for a very long time
