Me and my family visited just before Christmas. I hadn’t been in The Plough for a very long time as I don’t live locally anymore. When we arrived it was very quiet; it was still early for lunch. The pub was very well decorated for Christmas with a lovely tree; it felt welcoming and warm. Maybe the fires being lit would have been a bonus. All staff who greeted us were friendly and welcoming. 8 of us had lunch together yesterday. The food was excellent and served very quickly. The service couldn't have been any better. Lorraine, the Manager and her assistant were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.Parking: Dedicated car park with generous spaces.

Popped in for some lunch, stake and ale pie for me chicken wrap for the other half. Really nice food, lovely place inside and much bigger than you may think. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Cant fault it.
