If you are eating halal fish and chips with gravy. Its not reliable at all. First they say it's halal than they changed statement that it's not. I bought food not sure should I eat or bin it. I am Muslim I paid for halal food. Common if you have any problem don't bring it in your work. Be professional and honest money is not everything. It's not difficult.

Gone past this place many times.though I'd give it a try . 1st time I've tried it and will be the last. Fish was awful no crisp batter it was soggy.and the fish was like a white mash fish instead flaky. Chips cold. Even the barm cake had smallest spread butter in the center of it. I had to re butter it.i don't really do reviews but with out reviews these places will never change. I've give it a one star .

£4.80 for a chip barm with cold chips and a can of coke. Doesn't take cards. I don't care if you are scamming the tax man to be honest but you are next to a busy hospital, if you took cards you would be busier and could have warm chips.

You will not find better fish and chips in the area. The chips are well cooked and never greasy. You always get a big portion of fish which is well cooked. It's all really tasty as well. The scampi is excellent as well
Nice traditional proper English Fish and chips. And the only one in the area. Doesn't disappoint if you want a real proper English Fish and chips which is why I go there a lot

Who doesn't take card payments these days?? Cash or bank transfer. Load of faffing and food isn't that good either.

Can't fault the food, it's always really good and substantial portions. Staff are always pleasant. The only reason I haven't given full stars is because they don't take card payments and in this day and age I find that inconvenient.Parking: Small short stay car park adjacent and on road parking along the road. Can get busy due to other takeaways and shops
