We decided to have breakfast there because the rating on Google was good, and we had read a lot of good reviews on the service, saying they were very friendly. The first time we ate there we thought the service was no big deal, they were polite, that’s all. But we came back everyday because the food was delicious, prices were good and it was very close to where we were staying. Then we noticed this couple were in fact extremely kind. Extraordinary, even. They go way beyond good service and made our trip to Manchester a lot nicer. We came back to Brasil and already miss eating there.This is my first google review. I decided to delete my review from a year ago as I realised you can’t leave two reviews. This place is the best place in Manchester hands down, along with the other two establishments closer to the city centre. I’ve been here currently 11 times and almost every single time, I have enjoyed it to the max. I love the staff here, always caring and great and make sure you are okay. I love the managers especially Barry ( my favourite manager) sad to here today that he had moved to spinning-field branch but I have been presently welcomed by the new manager Steve from the Leeds branch. Out of 11 times of being here I’ve spent £3000 so it’s safe to say that I love this place and I will always continue returning cause the food is otherworldly especially the chicken. The cocktails especially the zombie are the best and the atmosphere although I have never been at night is superb. I love the alchemist and what they continue to do. And to note that I would love a new menu revamp soon enough as they always seem to change the menu which I love but the menu currently has on for a while.

Wow the food is delicious! I had the veggie breakfast wrap, it was probably one of the nicest vegetarian breakfasts I've had! It was not greasy & the sausage was really tasty & not like normal veggie sausages at all. The price was good too, £1 breakfast with any hot drink. We don't have one local to us, so this was a lovely treat on our way home from Manchester. I'll definitely will be looking out for Tim Hortons on my travels.

Beautiful food and lovely service. We arrived just as they opened at 5pm so was quiet at first but picked up soon. Had the parmesan fries and ham croquettes for starters and then the beef brisket pie and lobster tagliatelle for mains. The portions were generous and the food was very tasty and well made. I was very surpised with the amount of lobster in the tagliatelle dish actually, usually with such dishes you'd be lucky to get 2-3 small bits but this had plenty of big chunks, I was very pleased with that! We finished off our meal with the brownie for dessert which was yummy! Gooey, nutty and chocolatey. So overall, the food was excellent, the potions were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, can't fault it really.Would recommend and would love to come back!

Thank you for the hospitality that I received when visiting your Media City restaurant last Friday for a pre-theatre meal. Food and Menu There is a simple menu that includes all the Italian and American classics that people love to eat. The choices are limited however it does cater for a range of diners from the Meat lover to the Vegetarian. In the Starters there is a Garlic Pizza Bread that is tasty with a great Garlic aroma. There is also American Style Nachos with Jalapeños and all the sauces to dip into. In addition, there is Calamari, Ribs and the Chicken Crunch too. In the Mains there is a great selection of Pizzas with good flavours. There are also additional toppings that you can add on for an extra charge. There is also a decent variety of Steak, Pasta, and Salad dishes for those that fancy them too. For the Burger fan there are some Beef Burgers and a Chicken Fillet one too. There is also a wide variety of sides that are a great addition to your meal from Chips, Sweet Potato Fries to Onion Rings and Garlic Bread too. For those with a sweet tooth then there is a selection of popular Desserts including the Warm Chocolate Brownie, Cheesecake and, Tiramisu that is creamy and indulgent to eat. If you like cold Desserts then there is Ice Cream and the Knicker Bocker Glory. For the Starters the Garlic Pizza Bread was tasty and moorish. It was soft in the middle with a bite on the edges. It was yummy. The Calamari was pleasant to eat but could have been cooked more as it was slightly rubbery to eat. For the Mains the Chicken Fillet Burger was perfectly cooked and it was beautifully presented. It was tasty and heart-warming to eat. The Salad and the Mayonnaise added more flavour. The Sweet Potato Fries were comforting to eat. They were crispy on the outside with soft fluffy Potato on the inside. I love how they are presented in a small pan dish. Cute. The Onion Rings were scrumptious. Their crispy batter was great on the outside with soft Onion pieces inside. It was a heart pleaser. For Dessert the Chocolate Brownie and Ice Cream was heavenly to eat. The Brownie was cooked superbly. It was not hard to eat but it was runny with gooey and indulgent Chocolate. Yum. The Ice Cream was great too as it cut through the richness of the Chocolate adding texture. It was also stunning in presentation in which the Chocolate Brownie is in the middle of the plate with a lovely scoop of Ice Cream on top. Drinks They have a good selection of soft drinks which include all the popular ones to have. There is also a small variety of juices on offer too. However they do not serve non-alcoholic Mocktails. Service The service was good. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and accommodating. She gave us the time to choose our dishes. Her suggestions for food were spot on. It was good that the food came out pretty quickly and it was beautifully presented. Lighting and Access The lighting at this restaurant was pretty bright which allows for an enjoyable meal for most people including those with visual impairments. Entry to this restaurant is at the Holiday Inn Hotel to which there is a small step to enter into the building. Once inside there are stairs and lifts to get to the Mezzazine floor. This is where you will find the restaurant. There are no stairs inside as it is on one level. Furniture The furniture here is brilliant. I love the big tables which are spacious. The chairs are big and are comfortable to sit on. This gives a relaxed ambiance so that you can dine in style. Parking Parking is available at the Quayside Media City UK multi-storey car park (formerly The Lowry). If you are a Blue Badge holder then you will get 4 free hours when stamping your ticket. This takes effect from the time of arrival. Alternatively you can park at the Media City multi-storey which is closer to the venue. Pricing The pricing of the dishes at this restaurant are mid- range. In walk through Media City most days and often stop here to meet my neighbours for a coffee.Pret is very popular in the mornings and there is often a long queue however the staff are very friendly and efficient so I never have to wait long.There is seating inside and outside with beautiful views of the park and canal.There is a tram stop nearby also and the very pretty Blue Peter Garden.There is a monthly subscription you can get where you pay a fee and can have several coffees every day but i haven’t fully explored that. I visited this kitchen on the basis of good reviews, and I can recommend it for myself. The food was fresh and excellently prepared. Both the chicken and the beef were fantastically prepared, falling apart in the mouth. The rice was just the way I personally like it. The interior space was not so welcoming (clean). Also, some of the older photos show seating and there is no seating and only takeaway is working at the moment.

You will not find better fish and chips in the area. The chips are well cooked and never greasy. You always get a big portion of fish which is well cooked. It's all really tasty as well. The scampi is excellent as well

WOW what can I say?I was served by the lovely Megan who whipped me up a juicy Wigan Kebab on the spot with Butter hand spread by the chef themselves.This paired with some Cheesy Wedges that are so well made the cheese falls off like Venison from the bone.I always come here time after time looking for some nosh when the belly is grumbling!Better than Bolton Poundbakery.

Great vibes and atmosphere, especially with their back terrace. A bit tricky to order as the bar has 2 separate entrances so you don’t really know where to queue, but the staff was friendly and let us enjoy our beers even after the official closing time, would definitely go back!

We visited this lovely cafe today 13th March.5 of us had lunch, drinks and a chat.Sorry no pics I forgot.We all had lunch served very quickly by friendly staff, it was hot and plenty of it.The atmosphere was great and the place was very clean.We visited the toilet which was nice and clean but it was up a flight of stairs which we managed even though my friend was visually impaired.We all bought a cake on our way out to eat at home, they were also very nice.The prices were very reasonable and would highly recommend a visit.We would certainly visit again.Thank you x Sue
