Grindsmith is gem! It has a warm and inviting atmosphere with consistently excellent food and coffee! Special thanks to the barista with the pink hair and cheery smile this morning. Everyone working there is friendly and all this helps make MediaCity feel like a nice location :)

Such a highlight to my day, the staff are super friendly and always make me smile, I visited Grindsmith store yesterday after a long walk round the quays, I loved my oat latte! The coffee is amazing along with how lovely the atmosphere is, I always recommend Grindsmith! Thank you to all the staff!

The coffee, the staff, the atmosphere and the food at Grindsmith Media City cafe make this an almost daily haunt for me.Everyone is so friendly and care about their customers.Big shout out to Sam and

The supervisor with pink hair was totally obnoxious in dealing with my family. Her approach was ‘ i am doing you a favour’ by letting you have a coffee. Disappointing, as the food is good

Great coffee, sadly the baristas are always moody and not friendly at all.

I used to visit Grindsmith Coffee Roasters every Sunday morning (pre-COVID).Their café at MediaCityUK was around the corner from my flat. And I adore it.The interior has a Scandi-minimalist kind of vibe, with a hint of industrial heritage. And that's something you'll find in almost every coffee shop in Manchester. Now, moving onto the coffee... I have little to say other than that it's exceptional.Their passion for blending warm (yet smooth) coffee emanates from every mug. But, as if that wasn't enough, the food at Grindsmith is likewise top-notch.The menu may have changed since my last visit, but I recommend two items:1) The Pancakes - I'm talking thick, American-style with mascarpone and berries.2) The French Toast - Chunky (yet light) and served with maple syrup and bacon. So, if you work in or around MediaCity, and fancy popping out for a lunch break...... head on over to Grindsmith.Parking: There's a fairly large car park behind the Orange Building at MediaCity. There's usually a space available there, and it's right around the corner from Grindsmith.Wheelchair accessibility: The café is perfectly accessible by wheelchair. Although, there is an upstairs seating area, which wheelchair users will not be able to access.

Had a very nice lunch this afternoon at Grindsmith, Media City. Amazing flat white, super nice pancakes and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

I disagree with staff showing a political alligence.

Lovely staff, helpful and kind. The only cafe in the area that's not a generic chain? The coffee was good, the food was really nice, though be aware portion size is not huge, so you may want some additional toast e.g. the avocado on toast comes with only one piece of bread. My long black was served in a cup with an impossibly small handle which made it difficult to drink - bare in mind if you have any difficulties with grip. Dog friendly inside. Very good access to ground floor, a small bump over the threshold and then the ground floor is smooth flat concrete with lots of space for a wheelchair at tables, and a disabled bathroom which looked reasonably large.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good access to ground floor, a small bump over the threshold and then the ground floor is smooth flat concrete with lots of space for a wheelchair at tables, and a disabled bathroom which looked reasonably large.

Friendly staff, really delicious coffee and veggie breakfasts. A tad on the pricey side, but seemed worth it, especially compared to the pre-prepared microwave food you get in some coffee shop chains. The food was beautifully presented, good sized portions, and very tasty. We could have eaten a bit more cheaply at our hotel, but we're very glad we decided to try Grindsmith. If we happen to be in the Media City area again in the future, I'm sure we'd go back to try other menu items.

Nice overall, I still prefer the old branch in Deansgate though :( this one is ok but bad lighting & cold. I don't find it cosy to be honest. Food is good, paid 12.25 for flat whites & toast with avocado & poaches eggs (it should have feta but didn't notice any). I won't visit again but it was lovely to visit today.

We had a lovely visit here today. I did think the cappuccino was very small, however the smashed avocado with feta on toast really made up for it. It was absolutely amazing.
