We were just looking for bite to eat before a night at The Lowry. One of our party had visited before and suggested the Japanese Street Food. So much to choose from and so happy with our choices. The Yellowfin Tuna, Soft Shell Spider Crab and Chai Pannecotte with caramalised Pistachios particular highights. The staff were so friendly and made sure we were on time for the performance with their great service!

Seated quickly the guy never came back to take a drinks order so I politely asked the waiter that was serving the next table to be answered rudely and abruptly that he would WHEN he’d finished with the other table!A reply along the lines of ‘Of course I’ll get someone to take your order’ would have sufficed! Had to ask for cutlery and serviettes after our food was brought out again felt as though we were inconveniencing them. It wasn’t busy at all I certainly don't think the 10% surcharge was earnt on this occasion but we did pay it ?

Called in here today with my mother. She was really struggling with her mobility. One of the female staff came to the door to help us in and sat us down. Very friendly and helpful. The food was great. On leaving I asked a member of staff could they help my mother to my car if I drove it round to the drop off point. She willingly agreed and gave me her mobile number so I could ring her when I got there. It all worked out for the best.Going above and beyond. Excellent service.

CHECK RECEIPT BEFORE PAYING, Staff stuck a £9 tip on my bill without asking/telling me they had…didn’t give me an ‘option’

Great choice of drinks, at media city prices. Seating area is quite small compared to dining tables area. Quite a strong smell of fish.

I love coming here and do so as often as I can. My last visit was Christmas Eve 2023. The bar and restaurant decor has a contemporary feel with some wonderful throwback pictures of 1990’s (some late 80’s) local rock legends. There are some really comfortable seating booths with T.V screens. Great for when football is on. There’s some good beers at the bar too. I liked the Pale Ale.Food is reasonably priced. There is a superb Asian food menu along with the usual Gastro classics. The Sunday roast is lovely. There is music on in the evenings at the weekend if you like dancing but it does get busy here at night. The Lime Bar is a lovely place to visit in Media City. Very friendly and very stylish. There is also an outlet mall, theatre and car park next door so Lime Bar is very handy if you’re in Media City for shopping or catching a show. Thanks for readingParking: There is a car park next door in the Lowry outlet mall

We chose it as it was close to The Lowry and we were going there. I booked in advance although I needn't have as it was quite quiet. We had a lovely table, good service with the menu choices and the food was good. The issue came with the bill as they had charged us for a wine we had not ordered and the cocktail was charged at full price and not as specified on the menu (half-price at that time of day). The bill was rectified but it should not have happened. I might add that both the ladies and the gents loos are in need of refurbishment. Cracked seats and more........

A wonderful treat after going to the Lowry theatre! The food was excellent supported by a 5 star service from both Naomi and Todd! A real must either before or after a show! Definitely value for money!

We had our first visit, and it certainly will not be our last. Food was really tasty, service was excellent and the atmosphere was good, having football on the screens helped with the younger and older guests in our party. Would highly

Food at unagi and lime was excellent! If you are in two minds as to whether to eat Japanese or more western cuisine, why not have both?
