Had booked a table before a show at the Lowry we gave ourselves 1 one hour forty five minutes. In brief our food took over an hour to arrive. The staff were generally surly and unhelpful. There was a lack of interest in serving and rudeness when we asked our long our food would be. Bizarrely there was a long queue for the toilets, where there was also no toilet paper. Really disappointing start to our evening and won't be visiting again - not our usual experience of pizza express

My wife ordered Pizza via Uber app and was advised collection at 18:11. The ETA kept changing until it got to 19:20. So I called Pizza Express and spoke to the Manager. He told me the order was picked up by the driver 15 minutes again and the driver must have decided not to deliver and steal the pizza. He said that he have another pizza made and re-deliver.The pizza arrived and it was cold and the ticket on the bag stated collect at 18:11.The pizza was not a fresh pizza as would not be that cold within a short delivery.More like the pizza was the original one not collected at 18:11 and instead of making a new pizza the sent the original one.Very disappointed with the pizza and explanation from the Manager.

We ate at 7pm and the restaurant was mostly empty, there was around 4/5 tables of other people. When we first arrived we had to try to get the staffs attention to be seated, due to staff processing uber eats orders. Some staff saw us but decided to keep talking amongst themselves. The attitude of the staff wasn’t rude, they just all seemed like they didn’t want to be there and couldn’t be bothered working. Like i said, it wasn't busy at all. Our son ordered the kids menu bolognaise, it arrived with our pizza but the pasta wasn't cooked. It wasn’t even al dente, it was brittle and just not cooked enough. We asked for a new portion and was told they would do this for free and not charge us (we found this funny because we definitely wasn’t paying for the first portion!) and was told they would cook the pasta longer for us, but the first portion was how they normally serve it and that was just the texture because it was gluten free pasta. The 2nd portion was fine but by that point the rest of our food was cold. It was a weird meal. Pizza express is always a good option and reliable, the York establishment was fantastic last month, but i can safely say I wont be eating at the Lowry establishment again. Atmosphere was dead (not the staffs fault) The unit is like a canteen and the staff seemed bored / fed up. With the choice of other places around, try something else.

The restaurant was cold … most clientele kept their coats on even while eating. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was standard but not brilliant.

We'd booked a table for 4pm but after a 400 mile drive from Kent actually arrived at 3 and even though they were extremely busy they fitted us in early. Great service.Dietary restrictions: Very good gluten free options

Staff were polite, however the wait on food was over 50 minutes and we were not informed until we asked, absolutely shocking, it’s a pizza not 5 star dinning, puts a new meaning to express pizza

Visited before a show at the Lowry sadly won't be going back. One starter cold and the other luke warm, then pizza came burnt underneath very dry and very little topping on.

After an excellent experience at Salford Quays with my family. I thought it was only right to emphasise how good it was. One word for our waiter, outstanding. Harry could not do enough for us. My two kids were besotted with him, he really engaged with them which my husband and I both appreciated. Even thought it was extremely busy, he was brilliant. Overall experience. 100000/10. I would definitely recommend. Thank you, Harry for making our once in a lifetime trip so memorable.

God I love this place, the Americana pizza is unmatched as a classic. The place is so stunning. We were served by Ethan and Dan who were the loveliest servers ever. Such a great meal!

A waitress called Abigail was the perfect server, so polite and well mannered. One of the best pizza expresses I’ve been to.

Gorgeous meal. We visited after a visit to Old Trafford for the football. A quick walk from the stadium to this restaurant which we had pre booked online. Others were getting refused entry as it was very busy so I’d advise pre booking. We didn’t catch our waiters name but he was wonderful, very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious! Would revisit in a beat!
