I ordered food and drink throught the app a few minutes before 9 o'clock. The waitress came straight away telling me that the food order was cancelled because the kitchen is closing. I understand that if I come late that there is a possibility that they might not serve food. However I was waiting 20 more minutes for the drinks to arrive. When I went there to ask they told me that they cancelled the whole order. I tried to make a new order and this time showed my Easter discount for a free drink. I was surprised when they charged me the whole amount. The staff surprised me with their attitude as they were not like this before. This is not the end of the nightmare. I guy came at 15 to 10 telling us that we have to drink our drinks inside not at the terrace without even checking that our glasses are empty.They lost a regular customer and me or any of my close friends are not coming here anymore. I will go to other Greene King pubs as they have better service and take care more of their customers. 1 star is too much for this place as they are trying to be a nice pub but they failed with their attitude and service.

Just like any other Greene King pub… Loud and cheap.The burger meal I had with my partner was a bit odd, with salsa and a poppy seed burger not to be chosen by us again. There was also no guacamole, which was advertised.The ‘sex on the beach’ cocktail had no flavour and was definitely missing cranberry juice. It was more like ‘sex in the skip around the back’.Probably would come here for a pint and nothing else.

Was busy the night we visited but it was full of mistakes.First. We had to ask what our table number was as no table number was on our table. OK. That was dealt with.Second. The wrong order then comes to our table because of a mix up in the kitchen.Third. After over an hour food comes and it looked alright but overall. Greene King pubs I've been to before and since. The food quality is much better and this place didn't match them standards.I expect a certain quality all round and this did not match the experience I've had elsewhere. I understand this is a busy location but there is no excuse for the service, the standard of food and the time it takes for all this.I won't be returning anytime soon and hope when I do it improves.

Being local we go regularly but since the refurbishment we find it not so wheelchair friendly. This has been discussed with managers but nothing has changed.We have had trouble with using the disabled toilet having to wait for able people to vacate, including a guy that was using it to make a phone call.Today we tried to get to it but was blocked by too many customers hanging round small tables despite half the pub Being empty. Manager was found 5 minutes after toilet was needed, luckily we got home to use our own toilet.
Had a great lunch waiting staff macey and mandy was very engaging, created a very positive atmosphere and would recommend further visits to friends and family as I was made to feel very comfortable during my time at the establishment.
