Had a wonderful evening. Great food, great drinks. Special mention to Deb and the duty manager Jo. Nothing too much trouble for either of them.

We stated at the Premier Inn and had our breakfast , we had lunch and dinner here, all the meals were superb, good portions, good food, good value for money, the food was so tasty, clean, quiet, staff was always kind and polite, we will Def come back.

Ordered vegan option of fish and it was really bad. So undercooked the "batter was white" if the items are listed then the chef should be able to cook it satisfactorily. Not impressed at all.

Stayed at the Premier Inn next door and decided to come for the breakfast. Worst cooked breakfast we've ever had. The whole plate looked anemic. The bacon was 80% fat and looked like it had only been kissed by the pan. The 'premium' sausages were lukewarm and I'm not sure what were premium about them. My poached egg was like a bullet and the mushrooms were slimy. You certainly get what you pay for. Didn't bother to complain as we were only there for the night and won't be returning.Nice continental selection. My advice is to stick with that.

Very nice and clean little pub with atmosphere and a polite staff. I have been here for 3 breakfasts this past week and enjoyed each of them. The reason I am knocking a star off the rating is because the sausages and beans at the Sunday breakfast were only lukewarm. Not a problem during the week with the other two meals. Could be a weekend thing?

Came here twice in one week, first time we had lunch and it was delicious. We popped in again Saturday morning for breakfast and it was also delicious. Food is cooked well and the service is great. Thank you for the warm welcome and we would definitely come back ?
