I came in after a visit to Wrightington hospital with my father. We both enjoyed an excellent mixed grill. Hannah looked after us and couldn't be been better. 10/10

It has been months.. far too long since I've been in this fantastic establishment.. however I made the effort to call in just last night for a quick pint. The place hasn't changed which is good, I'd be disappointed if it did. I was lucky once again to be served by hannah who was the perfect barmaid, happy, smiling and nothing but pleasant, . made me feel so welcome I stayed most of the night.. just fantastic. I hope to not leave it so long until I visit again..

Visited again tonight, we try and come at least once a month, and what we didnt know was that there were some entertainment tonight, and it was amazing! The atmosphere was superb. Everyone was joining in, having fun, the staff were great. Laura served us and checked on us and our food again. Such a credit to the team, also saw the manager Connor from last time, all the staff seem so happy and they were rushing round all hard working, but nothing was too much trouble and all seem to get on great which is lovely to see. The food of course was delicious and hot, love a good sunday roast. Thank you to all involved and a great service to!

Such a lovely night and such lovely food, we called in on the way past from going to a Christmas fare, decided to stop in for something to eat. I’m glad we did. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. A big thank you to the staff who were all geared up for festive fun. One of the staff members was dressed up as an elf and my son absolutely loved it. Every time she come and served us at the table my son made sure he ate his tea so that she could tell Santa what a good boy he was, so a big thank you , thank you to the staff that evening Jo, Deb, Laura and Hannah xx :@) xx

Called in this morning with my 3 year old daughter for a breakfast, whilst waiting to have my car cleaned across the road. Fantastic, enthusiastic and lovely staff behind the bar (namely Colleen) made us both feel really welcome! I have to say Colleen was really excellent with my daughter and gave her a little chocolate coin when we ordered at the bar and then took her over to the Christmas tree and allowed her to play with one of the toys, which kept her occupied whilst I devoured my breakfast and enjoyed my coffee. 10 out of 10! Rare to find staff that engage so well with kids and are so genuinely lovely. It is this kind of thing that keeps repeat custom in a business as it makes you feel really appreciated as a customer! Keep up the fantastic work Colleen! Breakfast, coffee and fruit shoot for under a tenner too! Ideal little place to grab a bite to eat in a fun, engaging and genuinely family orientated setting. Thanks again and we will be back! Merry Christmas!
