Bar • “Average pleasant pub, nicely furnished. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Range of beers an soft drink available. Get window seat and look at the river Goyt flowing past under the window and also a great view of Marple Bridge. Limited car park, but there is a large free car park across the road. The ones up the hill are both pay and display!Recommended.”

Great service, brilliant atmosphere especially having the park connected to it kept my kids entertained leaving us to enjoy dessert in peace, for dessert I had the triple fudge chocolate naughtyness”

Great pleasant service, I only marked atmosphere down as it was quiet when we were in (but I like it like that) it made a change not having to shout across the table to be heard which seems to be the norm now. “First time eating in this little gem. Absolutely fantastic. The staff are so attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Cleanliness and service outstanding. Sunday lunch we can say was the best we have had in years. I recommend everyone to visit and a must is the blackcurrant and Prosecco cheesecake!!! We will definitely be back soon.
