Worst martines shop i have ever been to very messy selling hard cakes and pasties with rude staff shocking.

Went here for my lunch, got a couple of pasties and a pizza, so I thought. Surely it's a pizza because I said "and a pizza please" and she picked it up. When I bit my pizza, it turned out it was a tuna sweetcorn pasty and they'd grilled cheese over the top of it. If you're not expecting to bite into a tuna pasty, it's pretty rancid when you do. Followed this with the steak slice, which was full of very rubbery chewy steak. My colleague had a steak pie and his filling was also rubbery. Won't be going here again!

Nipped in here for a sausage barm, ended up coming out with two sausage barms and a very thick square of chocolate brownie. The sausage barm was lovely, nice and warm with ketchup. The chocolate brownie had lots of fudge pieces and chocolate chips, a very thick slice. Very nice. I would visit again.

Martins has gone from strength to strength over the pandemic. The sandwiches are great, the fresh bread Is superb, and the fresh stuff like the bacon and sausages are top notch. The staff are brilliant, can’t fault the place at all.

My 4 year old daughter wanted a pasties barn with coleslaw ! Got told there not aloud to put coleslaw on a barm ! Pathetic always get it from the salford one ! Ended up costing 4 pound odd for it as the charged me 1.20 for coleslaw in a pot that could of been spread across 5 barms! Would mind but they make sandwiches fresh on site ! Wont be returning

Service was good but the pasties were like the cardboard you get in the bottom of a pizza box. I got 2 of them a veggie curry and a Jamaican one and they tasted the same unfortunately just a different shape. I’ve given it 2 out of five because the server was polite
