I'm quite sure it's still microwaved from frozen like every other pub, but it's clearly from a quality supplier and they actually follow instructions.
5/5 for microwave pub grub pretending to be home cooked.
The pies are bloody lovely though.

129-131 Partington Ln, Greater, Swinton, ManchesterTried this place for the first time on Friday 3/10/25, ordered the peri peri ribeye steak box, what can I say? This is now going to be my takeaway of choice, I will work my way through the whole menu, the food was 10/10 from portion size, appearance, taste and value. I was advised by the fella at front of house to maybe phone ahead next time as Friday is their busiest night and it would save having to wait too long (was around 20 mins) the wait time is irrelevant considering the quality of food and the way I see it is if I'm waiting because they are extremely busy yet quality remains the same, then to me that's a good thing, speaks for itself. So if you haven't tried it yet what you waiting for, you won't regret it but you will go back !

Obviously try the papaya salad (ask for hot), tom yum soup is fragrant and delicious also. I read a review criticising the jungle curry as being thin, there's another word for that AUTHENTIC.A tip for you, as soon as you sit down order your drinks, trust me

Michelle's Cafe and takeaway
233 Chorley Rd, Swinton, ManchesterFood was great but very hard to understand what I was saying. Cafe was very quiet but was only there before closing, all in all a nice clean cafe with a good food and drink option.
Parking: The parking is across a main road near a police station.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access my wife has to use a walker or wheel chair and I would be able to get in there very easily.

There is parking left hand side of the take away. Very good portions and everything is always hot. Price is perfect as well and like every Chinese the menu is diverse.

The sausage barm was lovely, nice and warm with ketchup. The chocolate brownie had lots of fudge pieces and chocolate chips, a very thick slice. Very nice. I would visit again.

I highly recommend Fairway as possibly the best Chinese takeaway in Swinton. I ordered yesterday and last week. The Thai Vermicelli King Prawns for example was simply excellent. 10/10

The sandwiches are always freshly made and exactly how you want them. The bread is soft and warm, the ingredients are fresh, and there’s a great variety of fillings and sauces to choose from.
The staff are friendly, quick, and really helpful, even during busy times. Everything is prepared with care and the place is always clean and well organised.
It’s a perfect spot for a quick lunch or dinner when you want something tasty but not too heavy. Consistent quality every time — never disappoints.

I’m a simple man to please with a foot long Italian herb and cheese bread with chicken, cheese and brown sauce on and toasted. Which ever one I visit they are always clean and tidy with attentive staff. I visited quite a few different ones too and enjoy the continuity across the outlets.
