Lunchtime Thursday - quite late but made no difference, made to feel very welcome. All staff friendly, polite and professional. Food was very good, Calamari and Chicken - fresh, nicely cooked and just right portions. Left alone for as long as we wished for coffee and chat (which is why we went) So impromptu booking turned out perfect! Thank you.

Really nice country pub, well kept beer and quite a good selection for a small pub. Nice outdoor seating area and a small play area for kids. Another on the list of summer pit stops...

While working locally, I found this place online. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The food I ordered was just as I like it, very tasty. A pleasure to use the Amans and I know that I will go back when next in the area. I have recommended this place to other people and to whoever reads this review.

Red Lion

My family and myself visited today and had a fantastic time. My autistic daughter struggled as we had forgotten to bring her ear defenders and the lovely Abby offered to lend her headphones to help, making my daughter feel much more comfortable and able to enjoy the fun with the other children. Excellent place for families, great food and atmosphere!

Lovely traditional pub with cosy fireplace. Had my nans wake here and the staff were so accommodating and everyone commented how great the buffet was (especially the pork pies!)Definitely recommend

I wouldn't go to buy a kebab and any other fast food from anywhere. Else in golborne than here the food is amazing and you really do get a large amount for your money and the Atmosphere is great my number one kebab shop love it

Wok's Cooking

I've been coming here for a couple of years now, always order several dishes but always include Singapore style vermicelli because it is absolutely delicious! All the dishes I've tried are fabulous and it's excellent value for money. The staff on the counter are always smiling and chatty and I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Church Street Chippy

Ordered delivery and it came unbelievably quick, everything was delicious as always, this is the only chippy we will go to, the best around and the staff are all lovely ❤️ never had a bad meal here

This is a stunning pub with a great atmosphere and lovely customers. Their real ales are always good. The staff care a lot too. Dog friendly at night. They have some good bands on tooNot had a chance to try their food yetPut your car number in the machine when you visit and all is well. Totally recommend it especially when @The THREE or @The HATS are playing

I called in here at tea time today for the first time in years. Ordered fish and chips and sausage and chips. They were gorgeous. Was surprised at the negative reviews. Perhaps it's improved.Parking: Bit tight on the car park but it was peak traffic time.

Lovely food every time. Best takeaway pizza I've had - I choose this place over dominoes. See people making reviews about the place being cash only.... just a thought, if you go once and its cash only then why do you turn up the next week without cash? Great food and friendly service, highly recommended.

Ye Olde Red Lion

Very nice indian food, the other day tried the English traditional mains and was very good. Today for the first time I ate indian food and loved it. I can't stand spicy food but this waiter was so nice and explained what to eat that is not spicy at all. Very relaxing ambiance and very helpful staff. Definitely I'll recommend it

Customer service is far better than most places, workers went beyond to make sure the food given to people were the right order and that everything was up to standard

The Imperial Court

We went here for a special night out and the food was absolutely lovely hot fresh and the best Chinese we’ve had for a long time. The service was great everyone was so efficient & so very friendly. Will be back very soon. Thank you for a great night had by the 8 of us.

The food was excellent.
The staff are very efficient too, no standing around waiting but constantly doing something.
Prices are very fair.
Would highly recommend ordering anything from the menu here.
