I would advise anybody with allergies to avoid this particular Subway like the plague. I witnessed one employee picking salad pieces out of egg, dairy and meat compartments and putting them back in with the salad. We are vegan and were being served by a lovely man who had put on fresh gloves but then another employee came over and put their hands all over our sub after they had just been handling dead flesh. We ended up leaving as if we had eaten there we could have become rather unwell as the hygiene standards were abysmal.

Had tuna sandwich , but before me was lad who ordered everything on he’s sandwichStaff politely warned him about price / so customer said no problemI tink One of staff Lads was new on training , and he got stress how to build up that huge sandwich and was busy time …He’s college took over , that Huge sandwich order and helped outSo I get my cold not toasted sandwich quickly Well done guys , team work in hard situation With smiles on facesAnd tanks for warm welcome ??

Had the NEW submelt the Steak and Chesse one, all's I can say is it was like dog meat on a sub which had been put through a panini machine it was soggy from the amount of sauce that was added. Only 1 place for this so called sandwich is the BIN!!. I will never eat from Wigan Wallgate subway AGAIN.

I have been in this subway this morning 2nd June 2023. First time ever I have heard that they can't do salads in breakfast. In every subway I have been no one refused but its looking like subway services is getting worse day by day.

The worst one around Wigan. Very slow and rude. People are waiting in the queue and both of the guys serving one customer ? I mean one is preparing the food and the other one is just watching. Shame shame shame

Best one in Wigan. The other ones around Wigan aren't great. This is the one we go to now, there is 3/4 closer to us.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately meatless meatballs have gone, but otherwise good.

Id give this place ZERO stars, the girl serving me was absolutely rude as F, rolling her eyes and attitude. I wanted salad on my sandwich but sadly i had to skip that as there was flies landing all over the salad!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!
