A traditional pub in the heart of Wigan. Convenient as a meeting place. Tetley's is almost always good they like serving the very pale beers that have become fashionable some are better than others. But they will usually let you try before you buy.Update: popped in for a pint and a pie with friends on a hot sunny mid may afternoon. Sat out in the beer garden which is a bit of a sun trap. An Architectural gem, tastefully decorated, 3 ales on the bar, the once proud Raven pub sign is rather worn, a shame, it would make the pub look so much more inviting from the outside with a refresh.

A great town centre pub, well kept ales and quality basic pub food.No fuss, no frills, just consistantly good.Although, today I lost my Raven Breakfast Virginity and it was well worth the wait. Quality on a Plate!
