Called in for some food, ordered a mixed grill and a Steak, somehow order was messed up,however the way the manager dealt with it was excellent, what could have been a bad experience turned out well, would gladly come again.

Great pub! Fantastic staff and service big shout to the manger who was on shift when we were there, I think her name was Ellie? Anyway her and the team were great! Thank you so much!

Probably the worst Sunday dinner I've had for years, took over 1hr to arrive and was that dry and tasteless I could not eat half of it. The kids burgers were a fraction better, 'edible' was their glowing review, which is more than could be said for my meal. Had we not been waiting for so long I would have sent it all back but simply did not have time. Bar service was great, but will certainly not be eating there again!

Had a lovely Mother's day meal in the Barton arms, felt very welcome, Ellie and the team go above and beyond to make you feel special. I must say I think the Chef David is doing a fantastic job, the food was amazing ?

They offer a Sunday set menu which is fantastically priced but lacks options. When they are out of Sunday roasts they no longer offer the Sunday set menu. The staff didn’t offer to swap out the main course of the set menu for something else they had on offer which meant the price for what would be on the set menu increased significantly.Disappointed that they couldn’t make the switch when they have a reduced menu on a Sunday which is orientated around the roasts they ran out of.

Our usual Ember Inn, The Bull at Astley, is being refurbished. Decided to try The Barton Arms. Same menu. The Battered Haddock was cooked perfectl. Ember Inns chips could be improved. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately took a bit of time to clear our plates but they were multi tasking. Would definitely go back.
