Nice food in a nice enough setting. The layout is fairly bland in a Beefeater sort of decor. On the evening we were there, just before Xmas, the atmosphere was a bit strained as there were nowhere near enough staff and the one person behind the bar was struggling to keep up with beer and food orders. Always very friendly staff and warm welcome.Food quick and hot and wholesome.My granddaughter loves going there.Can even take your dog in if out walking.Parking: Just put your reg number in machine when you enter to get free parking, or else you pay.

Food was ok pub was busy just lacks sparkle on the service got the feeling none of the staff were bothered if we enjoyed being there or not they seemed totally uninterested bar staff need to smile and actually greet customers properly not just saunter up and grunt at you.I know it’s on trend and I’m a dog lover but do I want to eat my meal surrounded by barking dogs no I don’t far to many of them.
