Booked for Sunday lunch and it was simply one of the best I've ever had. The food was sensational (I had the mixed roast for main) and the service was second to none. Couple all this with a great location, good prices (we had 3 courses and drinks) and I can see us going back time and time again. Would highly recommend it to anyone near or far.Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The staff asked about any allergies and restrictions when orderingParking: Not massive but we had no problems whatsoeverKid-friendliness: Plenty of people with children there.Wheelchair accessibility: Access into the pub very easy for wheelchair access etc

Lovely pub we include in a favourite circular walk. Twas very wet underfoot on this occasion so we had to spend longer at the pub, which was no hardship.

A nice member of staff let us in early before opening time and made the fire for us so we were comfortable, she was so kind and thoughtful 10/10 service. the decor was really good and it was pretty quiet for how amazing the restaurant was 7/10 atmosphere. The food was well seasoned and presented on the plateParking: Parking is around the side of the establishment 15m away from the front door, 20-30 parking spaces available

Lovely place, great old country pub. Sorry to say the service was an upsetting let down. We had friends from the USA looking forward to a nice English pub lunch.We had booked a table for lunch, well received, sat at our table and forgot about. Had to ask if it was order at bar with table number ?. But no there was a table service. Then asked what we would like to order for lunch before we were asked what would you Like to drink ?,,?. The food was great. Then we were forgotten about again for dessert.Never asked during the lunch how was the food , would we like anything more to drink.Better off doing self service.If that is going to be the service.What a shame ?. I really hope it was a one off.( Bad Day)
