Right from the moment we walked in, Joel and his entire team were all extremely friendly and welcoming. All the food we ordered was impeccable, the service outstanding and overall an amazing family pub that we will definitely return to!

The Three Horseshoes, Bighton Dean Ln, AlresfordA wonderful lunch outing. Walked in to see a cosy log fire in mid September and a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect ambience and lovely service and food. Great menu choice. RichardPlus.I booked in for a walking group for lunch for 15 guests, on the day we were actually 22! but Alex and the chef coped magnificently with the challenge and the dishes came out all together and perfectly presented, no compromise on quality even with such a large group. Well done!!

28 Broad St, AlresfordFantastic restaurant with superb food, service and atmosphere in a small, quiet English town. I recommend the Iberian ham, the cod "pavias" and the eggplants, although the rest of what we ordered was fantastic too. Also, excellent wine list.

44-46 West St, AlresfordA good deli in upper middle class New Alresford; very helpful service and some great products. I bought a great quiche Lorraine. They will order a product in for you and keep it in stock if you want it regularly. There is a cheese counter to die for. A must buy is their little strong cheese tart cases but, beware, they are highly addictive even eaten on their own.

Ovington, AlresfordBooked for Sunday lunch and it was simply one of the best I've ever had. The food was sensational (I had the mixed roast for main) and the service was second to none. Couple all this with a great location, good prices (we had 3 courses and drinks) and I can see us going back time and time again. Well Presented delicious family-style Veg, I could not get enough of the sweet roasted Carrots not to mention the roast potatoes. To die for. I would not share My Lamb but it was too good to experience all by myself. Our last experience in the garden was good but inside upstairs is a must, so much character. Service was prompt and natural, with no hard selling. the food does it all. Do yourselves a treat and make the trip. Go for a long walk afters, recommended. Well, recommended. Well, Done Kitchen and Front of house. You will see me again. Jakes.

12 West St, AlresfordHad a really lovely meal this week for my mum's 80th. They do a Prix Fixe menu for £20 for 2 courses which was perfect for what we were looking for. The quality of the food was excellent!! Beautifully cooked food and very friendly service. I have so much respect for good hospitality staff and this lady was a pro! Thank you for looking after us and making my mum's birthday lunch so lovely. We will be back x

Bighton, 41 Bighton Dean Ln, AlresfordMy wife and I eventually got round to visiting this lovely looking pub. We went for Sunday lunch. It is very popular so booking is essential. It has a lovely beer garden and outside area for eating. The food was superb. My wife and I had the mushroom scotch egg as a starter. It my not sound amazing but trust me, it is. We followed this with a Sunday roast my wife had chicken and I had the pork. Both were excellent. The service was attentive, prompt and friendly. Considering how busy the pub was the service did not suffer at all. This is a perfect Summer or Winter pub. Great for local walks.

15 Broad St, AlresfordA visit to the village and a late afternoon tea pit stop. We were pleased to see that they are open until 5pm, lots of other independent cafes and coffee shops seem to close around 4pm so this gave us a little bit more time in the beautiful village of Arlesford. The cafe was busy and buzzing, the staff were very attentive and seemed very aware of their customers, swooping down on a table as it was vacated so someone else could occupy it. A great array of cakes on the counter, quite big slices too. We just had tea, steaming hot and the little pot held 3 cups. Our window table proved a perfect vantage point for people watching on the quite busy high street. Pop in, say hello, the staff will definitely make you feel welcome.
