Brandy Mount, Cheriton, New Alresford, AlresfordFirst time eating and meeting with the TVR Car Club at this wonderful pub. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very nice. I hope to be back with all of my family - The Fish and Chips were impeccable!! 11/10!

The Globe
The Soke, AlresfordPopped in for a couple of drinks on Sunday 4th January. Lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff were all lovely. When the lunch service had finished, the staff brought around complimentary bowls of roast potatoes for the tables. They were absolutely lovely too - the chef(s) sure know how to prepare a banging roastie! That was a really lovely touch. Thank you! I was really impressed and will visit again when I am next passing through Alresford. I should book in for a whole Sunday roast next time! Cheers!

The Fox - Bramdean
A272, Bramdean, AlresfordYesterday shared my Mother's day family get together at The Fox at Bramdean,such a lovely setting.nicest staff who put up with nine of us having a wonderful lunch,coming from Somerset and East Sussex we needed a good lunch and were not disappointed.
One point though ,perhaps the children's menu could have been a little more imaginative 3-5s only had same old fried bits and beans,how about a cup sized Shepherds pie ?

Pulpo Negro
28 Broad St, AlresfordAmazing meal at Pulpo Negro.
The food was fabulous, fresh and beautifully made.
We had great service from Paddy, he made our experience perfect. He perfectly explained items on the menu to help us decide what dishes to order. His service was genuine, friendly and attentive.
Our favourites were the prawn and lemon croquettes, the garlic prawns, the octopus and the pork from the specials board.
Everything was delicious. I’d highly recommend and we will be back.

The Hinton Arms
Petersfield Rd, AlresfordWe frequently meet my parents here as it’s midway between the New Forest & Hindhead. The experience has always been lovely. The food is great value and the staff are always friendly and efficient. Today was no exception, we had a lovely Saturday lunch for 5. Really recommend a visit if you haven’t already.

44-46 West St, AlresfordA good deli in upper middle class New Alresford; very helpful service and some great products. I bought a great quiche Lorraine. They will order a product in for you and keep it in stock if you want it regularly. There is a cheese counter to die for. A must buy is their little strong cheese tart cases but, beware, they are highly addictive even eaten on their own.

The Sandwich Shop
51 West St, AlresfordAs a previous resident of Alresford friends who still live there had told me about this little gem.
So when I was out there to visit I thought why not give it a go.
I always like to support a local business where I can and Sarah’s Sandwich shop did not disappoint.
I had a cheese and ham baguette.
Fresh and delicious. I also had a caramel slice packet of crisps and a can of coke.
In a world of processed food and posh coffee shops I found Sarah’s to be a breath of fresh air, where you can pop in for a sarnie and a chat and feel a part of the community.
Little places like this need to be kept alive so visit if you can. Be patient if you have to wait. It’s worth it. ?

The Ship
Bishops Sutton Rd, Bishop's Sutton, AlresfordThis was amazing food! Since Kelly has taken over, it has become just the perfect place to eat because somebody is clearly thinking long and hard about the menu and what's on it - I don't think you can end up with a bad choice. The other thing I like about The Ship is that it is still a village pub that is used by people just wanting to stop in for a drink, not necessarily eating. I actually really like that. But mainly I'm going for the food!

We had to ask for the full menu as the special valentines menu was limited for dietary requirements, the staff were accomodating and the food off the main menu was excellant. The sticky toffee pudding was a particular highlight! The pub itself is lovely and cosy, the log fires were definitely an added bonus.
