Great place with some excellent bands playing music on the weekends.

The food was good and plentiful, and we enjoyed very friendly and efficient service.

We had a very bad experience on a previous visit. Food was good but service very bad, slow and getting confused. Our visit on Tuesday was different, service excellent. So your waitress yesterday redeemed you. Olive Hathaway

Enjoyed Sunday Roast. Pleasant and friendly staff. Thanks

Really good Sunday roast. I chose the pork, there were 2 or 3 other options. Quick and friendly service. The meal was really good with a good variety of veg.

Went for Sunday lunch. A lovely welcome from the staff and fantastic option for Coeliac sufferers as roasts are gluten free. We just couldn't have a Yorkshire or cauliflower cheese... didn't need it as everything else was yummy! We were also given GF bread with balsamic/oil whist we were waiting. Highly recommend , just wish we lived closer! Thank you.

Staff were very efficient and friendly. Attentive throughout our visit. This was our first visit and definitely not our last. We booked an early table, so the pub was a little quieter, however when it came to leave the tables were filling up and a friendly buzz was in the air. The venue was just right for our wedding anniversary.

Great loos, yummy roasts with a crazy number of different accompanying veg, love hearts with the bill, what's not to like?

Best roast around, amazing veg selection. Accommodated our 9 month old, always a winning pub

Nice food in a typical country pub. Service was efficient and polite.

The food and service was very good; but, surprisingly, it was very quiet for a Friday evening.

A splendid traditional pub with great staff, decent beers, and very tasty food. Not stupidly priced, either.

Came here with my husband first time. It had been shut for a refurb/point eith new owners/managers Served by a lovely young lady Melissa who was new and was telling me about the new Cocktail menu they will be selling. Will definitely be back with friends to try 1 or 2!

Great food from an interesting menu covering most preferences. Excellent ambience and service good. My one critique of the pulled pork pie was that the filling was very ‘wet' albeit with a good injection of sauce/gravy - I would guess to avoid it being too dry. This made the additional pot of even more gravy/sauce redundant. Nice choice of veg - broccoli and cubed roasted parsnip - accompanied well. Coffee excellent and love heart sweetie accompaniment an excellent idea!! Well done!
