During the weekdays the staff are fantastic. Tyler and the other lady are so friendly and quick. However when the weekend staff are on its bad. The so called supervisor with ginger hair is so slow and grumpy. He obviously cannot be bothered and doesn't care about people queuing....

Visited Greggs’ the weekend to see my daughter from London only to see that greggs was the only take away open, we were very happy to see amazing customer service from Tyler, he was so friendly and helped us with the area as we didn’t know where certain places were, thanks again Tyler

Poor customer service with flies landing on the food

On two separate mornings on a weekend, there was no bacon cooked for morning breakfast rolls. Unfortunately, you can see why there's declining sales in the place. Not good and needs better management

Third time same older lady in Alton branch has only put 1 sausage instead of 2 in B&S bagette. seems odd thats its only Alton that does this and same person every time. i know there is a cost of living crises but she must be taking loads of sausages home to feed her family !! and the customer is paying for it. This is a deliberate ploy its not accidental 3 times running with same person in same branch. she needs to be sacked

Why do they accept huge pre orders of breakfast? Stand in a que for 10mins to get to the front to be told there is nothing available at the moment as they need to prepare a huge pre order of breakfast. You can see everyone in the queue is annoyed as all have been patiently waiting. One person working the front till preparing all these orders leaving the que to grow bigger and bigger. Its not even 10am yet and no one is able to order breakfast. Very unfair on those waiting. On top of that the service is generally terrible and rude.

Cold pies all the time and a slow service

It's Greggs so it's a clean shop selling food that's tasty but usually rather bad for you. Even vegans can find something bad for them in there (their sausage rolls are great for a cold morning). The Alton branch suffers though by being one of the slower service branches I've been into, especially in the morning. There again I might be comparing it to branches in swirling metropolises like London and Bristol which have a much greater throughout. It's slow enough to make me think twice about stopping there though.

Been using this greggs for around 8 months and the drop in service, quality and availability is drastically decreasing!!

Shop was quiet, waited patiently for couple of minutes gets to my turn having already made eye contact with lady serving she then serves the guy behind me. So quietly without fuss put my wallet back in my pocket and left.
