I remember back when this place used to be a good bakery. I’ve just been in on a Saturday at 12:30. Huge sign advertising their fresh to made order sandwiches on top of a fridge full of pre made rolls. The young lady asked what she could get started for me and I said a chicken mayonnaise sandwich on white bread with no butter. She immediately starts looking in the fridge and I said “oh - do you not do fresh made to order sandwiches anymore?” She replied with “oh yes we do but I’m trying to see what I can get rid of first”. She consulates with another lady who seems to be running the shop; she says that they try not to do the made to order on Saturdays (take your sign down then) and then asks i’d be happy to accept the pre made chicken and bacon mayo roll in the fridge, I said yes as long as it didn’t have butter due to my dairy intolerance. Unfortunately it did have butter so instead she just reeled off all the other rolls in the fridge which I could’ve obviously ordered myself. Probably worth taking your advertising down for fresh made to order sandwiches if you’re not going to make them. All a bit lazy really. Shame as this used to be an excellent place to go with top food and service.

Fabulous. Been here a few times. Popped in for a pasty today. Very tasty and filled to the point it spilled out the sides! Would definitely recommend them.

Really good, rolls, cakes, and coffee, couldn't go every day because of my waste line and wallet would be empty
Stop for a roll and a cup of tea, food OK, but only asked for little bit of milk, think she must have put half a pint in mine ? poor show as the man told her twice. Luckily the tea bag was left in.

Good food, pleasant staff. However don't understand why eat In is so much more money than take away when you don't get plates or cups.
