I have been eyeing up the pies for a while now… and tonight, I did it!! Steak and mushroom in a Stilton gravy!!! It was HUGE and the gravy was amazing!!! I can see now why everyone raves about them and asks to take them home. Thank you so much Anna and Darren!!

Stopped here on our way home from New Forest for a lunch break. Unfortunately our motorhome decided to break down in their car park. They were very welcoming and understanding even though we were stuck there for nearly four hours waiting for recovery.Food was great and very reasonable, really enjoyed my Southern fried chicken burger. Owners, staff and other customers were all very friendly. Not a bad place to breakdown!Thank you all for being so patient and making a stressful situation much easier.

Went for dinner last night, wow! Could hardly move afterwards we were so full! The size of the godfather burger is unbelievable and tastes absolutely amazing - definitely recommend this one for the ravenous!! Southern fried chicken burger was perfect! The homemade brownie and crumble was phenomenal, my husband couldn’t believe it was homemade!! This isn’t the first time we have eaten here and won’t be the last! The food here is consistently brilliant, you won’t be disappointed!

Please explain how this setting is fair for this poor little creature. Not only it sits on cold stone, the cage and toy (a yellow ball and a box) are dirty. You clearly have a big garden, wouldn’t it be nicer for the rabbit to be sitting at least on the grass? I don’t understand why it’s so hard to look after the basic needs and at least some comfort for this furry friend. Please change rabbits setting, it’s not fair!!!!

On my last visit I was told off by the landlady for having my very small dog off the lead at the far end of the garden (nobody else was outside either, only me…) There were no signs up stating that dogs weren’t allowed off lead and many small tennis balls in the garden which would make you assume it’s ok. Funny thing is on my last 6 visits there was absolutely no problem, must have caught her on a bad day considering she told me off again for resting my glass on a paving slab at the far end of the garden… (again only me out there) Won’t be back I’ll stick to the White Hart from now on… No drama’s there!
