The Railway has become my regular pub as the staff are great and very friendly, and the atmosphere is always good. I love that they have a garden area at the back that includes a covered area with heaters. Great choice of beers and ciders along with everything else.

Shocked to hear numerous tales of the customers cat calling and making inappropriate comments to young girls walking past on their way to school/college/into town.I contacted the manager a few weeks ago to complain about the patrons shocking behaviour towards young girls when sitting outside the front of the pub. She appeared shocked and reassured me that they would not allow such comments to be made. However, as I stated above, I have still been hearing incidents including today. Girls and women should be able to feel safe and have no concerns walking past. Its abhorrent that grown men are making young girls and women feel unsafe due to their comments.More needs to be done to protect the young girls and women from such comments. It is affecting their mental health and self confidence.I wouldn't leave any stars review but the website wouldn't enable me to post this review unless I rated it.

Great pub with various sections to choose from, front outside seating, two front bars, back room with pool table and then some outside seating at the back. Seemed friendly with people of different ages
Cheap drinks, local pub/bar with ok service.Not a lot of choice drinks wise apart from that it was OK.

Nice little pub - it’s deceptively large, looks tiny on the outside but goes back a long way. There’s a decent choice of drinks, sufficient seating and the staff were polite and friendly. Pricing was fair too! All in all, a nice little local pub!Parking: Parking is on the street (limited) or alternatively the station car park is only a minutes walk away
