Phew! We ate here last night, we had pre-ordered 4x Christmas dinners (3 vegetarian options). The food, service & whole experience was first class.I would totally recommend this pub and have no hesitation in leaving a 5* review.

Very attentive staff, dog friendly, Very inviting surroundings, fantastic food. Parking could be tight, they ran out of Fullers London Pride.

Just had a baguette for lunch which was very nice, losing 1 star cos I fancied a desert but £8 for profiteroles is too much, dearer than the lunch. I'm going back again to try the

Extremely good menus and food. Our strollers group of 18 persons was catered for efficiently and swiftly, although one of the group got more than they ordered in their salad (a caterpillar).Lovely garden where my wife and I ate our meal because it was very hot inside on one of the hottest days of 2023. This is a Fullers pub so not much choice of ales, but the Seafarers ale went down well.

Fantastic staff and service however I would question the portion sizes for the price. Also, a little disappointed with the side dishes on Sunday - roasted vegetables don't really go with pie and chips! Plus I don't eat cheese so the other veg options weren't of use.

Great environment, lovely garden and staff were all great.Food was a bit disappointing for the price, chicken was dry and pie was a bit bland. To response below - it was the 1/2 chicken & the lamb pie, appreciate the offer but we were only in the area for a couple of days and are back home now.

Good food but rather short-staffed. Young lady impressed by getting food orders from tables first but this did lead to delays in drinks. A sign of the times in catering these days. Food itself was good and prices reasonable.

First visit here was for a Sunday carvery which was really good, and the latest was for their normal dinner menu mid-week meeting up with family. Extensive menu, and all 5 of us enjoyed our meals which were of a high standard and good portion sizes. Staff are attentive and friendly and we had a very pleasant evening. It was busy and glad that I had booked our table, so would recommend booking in advance.
