Awesome traditional English pub! People and staff were very welcoming and friendly! We had a great time meeting and talking with the local people from the town and learning about Alton's history.

Had a good evening here with friends, they had a live band "booze brothers" playing ska music, great atmosphere, friendly staff, great deals on drinks, large heated smoking area in the courtyard garden, security on the door and inside, overall faultless would recommend and visit again
