At last the poplar farm is a decent pub again after the useless last managent have left. The service seems to be bustling and the food is now consistantly good. Thankyou for allowing us to order some snacks on Christmas Eve as you were not taking walk ins but were still able to do us some lovely triple cooked chips . This is such a lovely pub to relax in and it's great to see it getting back to where it should be ?
Beat food, cosiest pub, friendly staff and the UNO cards made the night. Thank you! Definitely gonna become my favourite go to.....

This is a great spot to pop in for a pint and a small bite as well as an evening out. Tracey our server today was very friendly and welcoming and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Will always return.

Christmas day dinner was worth every penny. Greeted warmly by a manager who showed us to our table. Really impressed that he took the time to engage in conversation with our 7 year old son. The restaurant has a relaxed warm atmosphere. Our waitress was again very welcoming and spoke to us all. The food surpassed our expectations. All three courses were served in good time and we never felt rushed. The children's portion was huge. Between us we had the veg wellington, beef wellington and Turkey and all were so well cooked. If I'm going to be picky I would have preferred crisper potatoes but it's safe to say I won't be cooking Christmas dinner again and will be back next year. Thank you to the whole team for a great meal
