Long wait for food, the battered fish was covered with a thick coating of uncooked batter, hard to find the fish. However, mywife's meal was perfect.

Stayed at the premier inn. Missed breakfast and politely asked if I could use their microwave but they refused. Had to eat my breakfast cold, thanks.

Pop in for lunch although few tables the wait wasnt to long. The food was hot, fast and delicious. Chris the manager had a great customer service. helpful and very chatty, checked on any allergies which I do have. It was Nice break from work and will go back at a lunch time.

Awful, for dinner & breakfast. Unavailable food items were accepted by server but rejected by kitchen. Server had no ideas about substitute items. To get pre-dinner drinks needed a 30 min queue at the bar. Soft drinks machine was lacking some syrups. No ice in the ice machine, needing another queue at the bar. No checking back on quality of meals. Overcharged at breakfast. Dirty breakfast crockery. Breakfast buffet items were barely lukewarm.

Extremely friendly staff, there was an excellent choice of food at the breakfast buffet and a clean and welcoming environment. Will definitely be returning soon.

The staff are nice and friendly and helpful, this includes on the phone and in person. There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant area, with a log fire on to help keep you warm. The prices are reasonable for what you are getting. I had a gammon steak and it was very tasty, with the option to have pineapple and or fried egg on top. The restaurant is clean and tidy; except for the toilets. The toilets are looking rather dated, and some aspects were disgusting.

Stopped in for a light lunch, we hadn't booked but the lady was very welcoming, friendly and found us a table. The atmosphere was nice, service was efficient. We chose a selection of sides to make up our meal. We couldn't fault the food, it was prompt, hot, and good value for money. Would visit again.

Chips weren't that hot, but lasagne was very hot. Would have had dessert but only one person serving & 5 people ordering for well over ten minutes, so didn't bother. Probably won't visit again.

A table was booked about a month ago for a family of 5 + 1 toddler. The table we were led to was crammed against a wall with no room to sit round comfortably as there was another table with diners next to this table - they had obviously moved the table so they could sit comfortably; I couldn't blame them really. I saw the waitress and said it was totally unreasonable for them to expect us to sit there and try to enjoy food so they moved us next to the play area where we had more room although there were empty tables in the sun room, we were told they were all booked for another sitting. All the time we were there the tables remained empty. Then we went for the breakfast - I just wish we had gone to Wetherspoons, cold bacon, warm hash browns cold mushrooms and the most revolting eggs that could be bounced all around the room, we were told they would get some fresh eggs organised - total lies - no eggs appeared, they just kept the rubber ones on show, probably to put people off. The plates looked like they could do with a dish washer experience and as for the sticky tables, I just can't imagine what they are cleaned with. The most unprofessional eating place ever.

Very poor little or no staff so only certain meals could be made or warmed up had we known before we entered we would not have stayed and as we were visiting from Bristol not impressed at all although the place had been recommended by family member and had food there before with no

Normally very good, but they had run out of bacon and tomato at 10.30, these are a staple for breakfast, so will give a miss on Sundays now.

Absolutely awful food and service, When I complained about the beer batted fish batter being soft and spongy, the team leader was totally unhelpful and un-professional, refusing to give me the name of the manager, HR, or anyone else who could help me, and threatened to call the police unless I left Immediately...question: if you feel you were not given the service you expect from a company this size/ any size, don't you have a right to complain? It's your money ? you take your choice

Give it a miss. Turned up at 6.30pm to be told on ordering there was no turkey. I pointed I was ordering chicken and was told this was fine. After waiting 10 minutes one of the staff came out to tell us they didn't have that either. Needless to say we asked for a full refund and left to go elsewhere. Not the first time this has happened here. Won't bother trying again.

A long wait with no staff. The starter and dessert were fine but the main was remarkably poor. Don't bother with the festive turkey, the peas were like bullets, the roast potatoes were dry and tasteless, the turkey was obviously from a turkey roll, the gravy was the redeeming feature.

Staff weren’t attentive at all, when I asked to heat our daughters baby food up, they told us that due to allergens and there microwaves being too powerful they weren’t allowed…. Even though it was In a sealed container, personally I Think it was more that they were too busy having a chat and couldn’t be bothered so gave the first excuse that came to there heads. We all had the carvery, whilst in the queue we witnessed the lump of beef being cut and my goodness it was so dry and overcooked the women cutting it made it look like it was an arm work out to slice it…. Safe to say we didn’t have it. They had ran out of carrots and it was only 2pm…. The so called stuffing balls were like falafels.. the gravy was more like brown water…when we ordered desert 3 of our deserts came out and my father in law was left waiting for his…. We had to ask where it was as we had finished ours and once asked it came straight out so was clearly sat waiting to be brought out but yet again the serving staff were too busy to do there jobs. Somewhere Like this should be absolutely rammed at this time of year at 2pm on a Sunday…. But it wasn’t and to be honest after today I can fully understand why it isn’t…. Because it’s really below average and no one seems to care. Won’t be returning
