We had a wonderful time. Food really good, and the staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble. Recommend the Royal Oak to everybody.

Lovely staff,lovely pub and very accommodating with children.Only issue was the fish and chips I ordered,the fish batter was far too over cooked and hard but the other meals were very nice.
3 bar staff behind the bar, only one serving, didn't help that two customers were scrolling through their phones when they were served! bar staff disappeared before eventually coming back to serve me well over 5mins later! I live in.optimism that the service here will.one day improve but after so long I think it is more of a pipe dream. Only plus side tonight is they actually had beer and more than just the one left on.
