Such a lush pub! Staff are very welcoming and food was lovely.Me and some friends rolled in late one evening for some food after a long drive and the kitchen had closed already but the chef who happened to overhear our situation kindly opened up again to sell some some grub! Very tasty too.Big shout out to the staff and especially loved that they do doggy roasts! Will definitely visit again if/when in the area!

28/3/24 We parked our motorhome in the car park having pre called to check as we were on our way to Weymouth. As soon as we walked into the pub we were welcomed by a lovely lady and I’m ashamed to say I didn’t ask her name but she long brown hair anyway she had reserved us a table knowing we had two Labradors with us. Unfortunately one of them was ill and there was a terrible mess we felt awful but she was wonderful. We cleared it up together and nothing was too much hassle. We had dinner after which was the duck rolls to start and homemade pie for mains followed by cheesecake all amazing. She looked after us while we were there and was the perfect host. The pub itself is cosy welcoming with a lovely atmosphere I would 100% recommend this place.

Lovely countryside pub! We were driving through and stopped here for a quick drink. What a great find, it would be even more gorgeous in the summer. Bar man was really friendly and lovely. We sat outside on a chilly winters afternoon but it was really nice with a stunning view. Easy parking too. Would definitely return!

Went for a roast, which was excellent. All staff very friendly and the pub was very warm. Only comments against I can think of, is the veg is rather too 'Al dente ' for our liking and there could be a wider range. Also only 4 average sized potatoes was about 3 too light for me! Wouldn't hesitate going again and look forward to it. Will take the kids too next time.Vegetarian options: Probably not enough with the roast. Carrots, brocoli ×2 cauliflower x2 (florets) and potatoes x4 averaged sized. Poor range with roast and undercooked slightly.

I just stopped in for a coffee and a sandwich. The sandwich was a meal in itself - lots of good and all delicious. I cleared my plate! The staff were lovely and the pub is really nice. I don't live near it but I'd make the trip just for another visit. Recommended!

We came here on a Sunday, and it was a last minute decision, as it was the only place nearby that had a kids menu and had space available. The food sounded great and we were all pretty excited.Food:We got there and found out that it was a Sunday Menu only, which meant roasts only, which we weren't prepared for! Luckily, the staff were amazing, and while the adults were fine having a roast, they did a normal menu item for my 4 year old, and they did amazingly. The roasts themselves were incredible. I have never enjoyed roasts at pubs before, but this was delicious. The roast potatoes were tasty and crispy as they should be. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. They gave an extra gravy boat to the table as standard, which NEVER happens, so wow, and it was a very good gravy on top. It's locally sourced produce and it tasted like it. I was disappointed at first that it was roasts only, due to prior experiences, but they blew me away with the quality and taste.Service:As mentioned before, they went above and beyond to help us out and couldn't have asked for better.Atmosphere:We sat next to the log burner fire as it was quite cold, and it definitely helped. The window seats, no matter how many logs were on it though, never seemed to get warm, I guess as they are old windows. The place is stunning and it was a great place to spend 2 hours, with lovely food and great company.Parking: Quite a large parking area available out back!Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and do really well to make sure the food is beautifully cooked and presented. They also help cater for kids food outside of normal menu times.

Super Sunday Lunch - This is our third visit to the Plough for Sunday lunch today. The menu is small but this enables them to keep the quality high. I had the Roast Beef and it was exceptional. I asked for it rare and this is how it came. Really crispy roast potatoes. A young team but attentive even though they were very busy. Will be back. Thank you

Excellent food, prompt service and attentive but not overbearing waitresses. I had the cod dish which was very tasty and filling, whilst the other diners both had the chicken burger, which was extremely tender and very big!

We enjoyed a really lovely lunch at this beautiful Inn set in the very pretty village of Longparish. The food is fantastic, as were the hosts who made us feel most welcome. The Inn is beautifully decorated and has a very relaxed atmosphere. 100% recommend, a real gem, will definitely been visiting again soon ?

A great find. There is a wide choice on the menu and reasonably priced. The pub is beautifully decorated and very cosy, with the two log burners, on a cold winters day. The service was god and veery friendly. The food was delicious. A lovely hot hot chocolate to send the meal. We were not hurried out which was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely meal, good choice, generous portions, log fire, friendly service, great choice of music but still able to hold a conversation and no TV where we were.

Having not been to the Plough for many years (it has changed hands a few times since our last visit), some friends told us it was really worth visiting again. And they were right! Romeo and Jackie were so friendly, the service was excellent, delicious wine and fabulous steak. And cosy woodburners added to the warm, relaxed atmosphere. Thank you! We will be back.
