Nice location plentiful comfy seats and staff very helpful

Great staff, always friendly and efficient. Reasonable selection of cakes and snacks, some comfortable easy chairs as well as usual table layout. Coffee is way better than Costa in my opinion. Happy to use this place regularly.

Staff are always polite and friendly, never feel rushed when ordering food/drinks from here and tables are always clean and ready to be used! It's a lovely quiet atmosphere, nice to sit in the back and forget about how busy the shopping centre is! My partner and I visit once or twice a week and really enjoying coming here! Might not be my favourite coffee but it's the staff and atmosphere that keep me coming back☕

Cafe Nero in Basingstoke have been excellent during this lockdown. My wife and I make a deliberate trip to Basingstoke just to go there. It is sad and unfortunate that we can't sit in and enjoy the atmosphere, they are the best cafe in town. Please stay open during this madness and irrational rules.

Bought a hot chocolate that was literally just milk, that's like over three pounds for what. Rude staff that can't make drinks...

This is a bookstore coffee shop. However, usually it is very noisy.

The drinks and food are pretty decent, but recently the staff have began chatting really loudly and you can hear it throughout the shop. This is really off putting, especially since it’s in a bookshop where people most likely want to read in peace, but also if you want to do work it’s rather irritating to have all that rowdiness in your ears. This didn’t used to happen but now every time I come in to read or do some work the staff talk so loudly it’s hard to concentrate. It’s a shame because the shop itself is rather quaint and hidden within the town centre.

Best coffee in town, if you are lucky enough to get some of the more experienced baristas you're in for a treat. Also fantastic pastries! Thanks for the great service every time.

A peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Basingstoke shopping. Situated upstairs in Waterstone's bookshop it is comfy and peaceful. Great coffee. Plus you can sit in the bookshop area and browse.
