First visit in 35 years when first moved to basingstoke, ordered a take away, service was first class very polite and welcoming, food ordered was very well prepared and good quality. Will not be waiting another 35 years before going back. Thank you for a nice mealSteveParking: Plenty of space

My family love the Chineham Indian. The decor is dated but the food and service is always great. Mahmood and the team are great!

The restaurant closes at 11! My wife and I booked a table for 2 at 8pm, we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table. The waiter complimented us on our appearance which I thought was nice as the wife took forever getting ready ;) our drinks and papadoms came within minutes and they remained tentative for our order. The Chicken Shaslik and Murg Masala was a delight, with a compliment of peshwari Nan.. my mouths watering whilst I write this. We would’ve stayed longer but the taxi was booked for 10:30. Thank you Chineham Indian, can’t wait to return!

Tasted like a supermarket ready meal, when paying that price don’t expect it to be so bland.

I’ve been coming here for a few years, and this is, by far, my favorite Indian restaurant in Basingstoke. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the restaurant is often quiet, which I appreciate. The takeaway is also great, but as far as I know, you still have to collect the food yourself, which might be inconvenient for some.Parking: There is a small free parking area, but since the restaurant is often quiet, the size is not an issue.

Have ordered food here a few times and it's up there with the best I've had over 20 odd years. Went in for the first time last weekend and the staff were so lovely, friendly and efficient, and really liked the decor and feel of the place. Also love the easy parking, and full menu (and chocolate mints!).

I don't get to go to this restaurant anywhere near enough. The service is quiet but friendly and the food is superb. Also their prices are very fair. Lovely special treat.
Been going there on and off for 30 years now. It's not changed at all. Good food, good service.

Excellent as always I've known the owner around 30 years highly recommended

Great food, but the restaurant is very quiet. The staff tend to chat to customers they know and leave people who have not been to their restaurant alone, felt a bit unwelcome. Not at all attentive.

Whilst staying in Chineham for work, my friends and I followed the local road signs to Chineham Indian Cuisine… and boy did we hit the Jack pot. Working long hours near by and on the hunt for some quality home cooked food this restaurant did not disappoint!! The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and they helped us pick and choose some fantastic dishes. When they arrived at our table, we were delighted with colours and flavours and went to bed that night with full, happy tummies!! ? This restaurant may but look much from the outside, but wow has it got something special on the inside! ??
