Went here for a 50th birthday celebrations last night and they just went above and beyond! The food was amazing and they were so helpful with making sure we could try the sauces first to judge the spice level.The dining experience was lovely and presented, the place was very clean and the staff were lovely!They even provided the birthday boy with a desert to which they lit a candle and sang happy birthday!Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will defiantly be returning whether that's to eat in or take away.

Great food and fast, friendly service too. Many dishes in a varied menu, so there is bound to be something on there for everyone. I can certainly highly recommend the Lamb Nilgiri. Recommend that you book though, as this restaurant can get very busy, rightly so, it is top notch!

Spices and Spirits is my local and usually excellent in all respects however my last dine in experience has put me off a little hence the rating for this visit only. OK it was a Sunday so perhaps not the normal chef and B team staff. Had lamb chops to share for starters, had to send them back barely warm, returned half the size, burnt but hot. Not a great start. My mains arrived and after a while I asked where the fish was and the answer was I didn't order it (must have been a dream when I did) didn't wait for it to be coked we shared the one meal. Asked for a Green Tea to finish off, guy said here's your peppermint tea and when I queried he said we don't do it to which I replied well you used to and itson the menu - he came back with a Green Tea. Another let down it that although not a cheap Indian they use basic cheap paper serviettes (1 off) on tables - come on guys surely you can afford linen to go with the price point - or even a higher quality fake one. And no its not a sustainability incentive its just tacky. Put me off going back to be honest but take aways still on my hit list.Parking: Adjacent lot however we are close enough to walk

Hot and tempting indian cuisine restaurant. Came after recommended by friends. Every dish has its unique taste. Getting good indian food is very difficult in the UK .Recommended if you really want to enjoy proper indian food.

TERRIBLE .This was actually a delivery. Chicken rougan. It was actually awful. I have had this particular dish in over 28 restaurants this one was a dark thick gravy which tasted terrible. Overpriced and amateur basic slop.
Food is acceptable but definitely not award winning…I ordered a chicken dish with 3 ? next to it on the menu and the waiter confirmed ‘oh it’s spicy’…yeah about that..it was delicious don’t get me wrong but spicy it was not ..I’m talking korma with a slight kick..overall a ‘nice’ Indian meal but it absolutely does not live up to the price tag or self proclaimed reputation...( we had poppadoms ..a main …1 drink ..cobra = £31 pp) ..not good enough..would I revisit..absolutely not.
