This is my fav stop when cycling Hampshires pristine country roads. Ordered the Iced latte, passionfruit soda, hot honey porker pizza, philly cheese fries side, home baked sticky toffee pudding & the crispy fried chicken carolina reaper, whitby scampi main, home baked brownie. The service was nothing shy of epic, always feel welcome like an old friend or family which really is nice. Charles & Reece were making sure the meal was perfect, and sharing fun stories about hot sauces when they brought out the new Carolina Reaper crispy chicken. Staff here are golden!

We as a family love to spend Christmas Day at The Beach Arms, the service we receive is always really fast and friendly and the food always looks appetising and tastes great. Being able to get our Carvery meal when we need to helps as sometimes time isn’t always on our side. The whole family enjoyed their meal this year and we had a lovely time together. Thank you to all the staff for making our day that extra bit special.

My visit to the beach arms turned out to be quite possibly one of the worst hospitality experienced I’ve ever had. First of, it was 18:00 on a Saturday and there were literally 3 other tables. It is a bit out the way, so I gave it benefit of doubt. I used to come here as a kid and Saturdays would be RAMMED from 9-9 open to close and food was really good, as was the service. Now, I don’t know what they hire the staff for. They literally pointed us to our table and then completely left us to it. The only times they communicated was to bring us drinks. The roast was okay, but the veggie chicken I ordered took 40 minutes to arrive… did I mention there were 3 other tables? Either the chefs lost the ticket, or they just didn’t care even slightly enough to get food sent out. The quorn chicken they use is literally microwaved, so how in gods EARTH it took 45 minutes to get to the table, is absolutely beyond me. The staff just seem careless, purely there for an easy time and money. The ONLY reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the manager gave us a minor discount and apologised. I would certainly never return here. Sad because I have a lot of family memories here. I don’t know how a place that used to be BOOMING with business, is now a sad, empty place. The photo I took of the check was around 5 minutes before food arrived.

Went for our annual family breakfast with Santa. Great breakfast for the price. Exceptional service from a young man called Charles (who wasn't even officially on shift!) who made sure my son had the best possible experience.

Went for a work party with around 30+ people. Everyone had pre-ordered and the food all came out right and no long waiting periods between courses. Very reasonable prices and good food! Especially the roast, with good vegan/vegetarian options. Very friendly staff, especially the majority of young servers! Would recommend for a roast or a staff party! Thank you

Had a carvery,, most of which you couldn't eat, roast potatoes were solid and yorkshire pudding was like a brick and couldn't be broken by my daughter and the gammon was so dry couldn't eat it. They really need to put lids on food while not serving ?

Stayed for one night last weekend for a local wedding. No complaints - just observations (that were not severe enough to warrant any negative impressions)1 - room was quite dark, only a few lil lamps on the bedside tables and the desk. No overhead light which made getting ready a bit difficult especially in the winter with no natural light.2 - the shower floor/base was cracked and bent in a bit so felt like my feet were getting a lil bath. No extractor fan either so the room was quite misty for a while.3 - the bed was a little too firm for my taste but I slept fine so no massive complaints there.I also paid less than £80 for the night which is why I'm not massively fussed. Loads of free parking and the dude who checked us in was lovely and explained everything we needed to know.Didn't get the food so no comments there.

I had the fajita pizza and it was amazing. We were a table of 10, the staff were outstanding and a few had the carvery which was all fresh and really good

This was the first time my partner and I visited the pub and it will definitely be the last. Very poor customer service in the restaurant and no one informed us how to order food or how the Sunday roasts worked. I ordered the vegetarian chicken roast and it was terribly disappointing. I was served 2 quorn chicken fillets which looked as dry as anything and they had clearly been nuked in the microwave. The buffet part of the food was cold, the roast potatoes were raw, other vegetables had no flavour and they had no parsnips! I would rate the roast a 2/10.

Very substandard roast and awful service. I don’t recommend you eat here, you’ll be very disappointed! A really poor experience and total waste of money.

Haven't been for years but fancied a roast without cooking. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially charming Charles ?, the two young waiters and the tall barman. We all enjoyed our meals and now look forward to no washing up! Thank you!

I only really come here for the breakfast. This place steam their eggs rather than fry them. Like a poached egg but without a hint of vinegar or the wateriness! They cook them fresh in batches.. just need to ask for fresh ones if needed! The bacon is great, sausages are quality and selection is superb for the price!!

We received a friendly welcome from Koby at the bar on arrival. We were only ordering drinks, but weren't made to feel like second class citizens which sadly is the case at many UK pubs nowadays, who are chasing the dining market. Thank you to Irena for her genuine interest that we were well looked after during our visit. We will be back!

My absolute favourite place to eat. There’s free parking and plenty of it. We’ve never had a problem getting a table, even when we book it’s not normally rammed. Love the old pub carpet and decor in there, really brings back the old pub vibes, it cosy and I absolutely love it. The pictures on the walls of the written pages and painted people on the top are gorgeous. The carvery is the best I’ve found anywhere, and it’s really reasonably priced too. All the staff I’ve encountered there have been super friendly - Georgia (I think that’s her name) always seems to be there when I go and she’s very welcoming and smiley. I’m absolutely devastated I can’t find the trillionaire bar on the menu anymore because it was just the best dessert ever ? I also find going up to the bar to order a bit of faff, I’m sure this is a recent thing - table service was much better but I can understand why they’d want to switch. Also I’m on O2 and get no service so can’t use the scan and order thing but honestly this is still my favourite place to come for a carvery, or a meal out, I will always recommend it to anyone!Parking: Free parking to the side of the building, plenty of spaces of good sizes.Kid-friendliness: I often come here with my daughter, and they have colouring sheets and crayons which keeps her happy. Also the all you can eat ice cream she takes as a personal challenge and always has loads - she loves it!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step or two into the front door area but as far as I can remember the rest of the building is all one level so superb!
