The Tea bar is my go to place for lunch with friends or an evening out.Daytime, there’s a good range of excellent quality food with friendly service. The setting itself is wonderfully decorated.Evenings- there’s always fantastic entertainment on to suit everyone’s tastes. It’s always a great atmosphere where everyone is friendly. The manager looks after the customers well, drinks are served quickly and reasonably priced. You’re always guaranteed a great time here!

Great venue for live music, with a real mix of musicians and styles to suit most tastes, I personally like almost all of the acts playing here. Staff are diligent and friendly, door staff are great, keeping a low profile unless required, even then they seem nice and efficient so trouble is kept to a minimum so it has a really good vibe, a really good place to have a night out

Fabulous from start to finish. Always a great atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff. Very welcoming whether popping in on your own or with a few friends. The decor is very cool and a highlight for me is definitely the variety of live music every weekend from acoustic artists or a full band, all tastes are catered for...I've never been disappointed. Would 100% recommend a visit day or night ? love this place!

Refused to serve even though I was sober. Tried to charge 10 pound for 3 beers even though the deal on was 3 pounds for 4. Just lost good custom. Very negative experience.

Spent many years enjoying great nightlife in this homely bar. Pre-2023 I couldn't say any better things about this place.!!Unfortunately I had a come across one of the "chavvy" bouncers undermining my reputation through false rumours, attempting to attack my character through over exaggerated and ridiculous lies about glasses being smashed. Through a minor arguement he had booted me out. I would certainly have words with a man of this short calibre and assess his maturity and general attitude towards being a security for your lovely bar. He also doesn't look like he could handle himself let alone other people. I hope to meet this many petty people in future, thoroughly enjoyed it none the less.Egoless, brave and real. Stay holy <3

Had a great night out in here with a live musician. Great atmosphere. Had a brilliant night. The only thing is, we had a cocktail that wasn't made right. We took it back and the barman refused to redo it properly.
Great place to have an early night cocktails, they do karaoke nights on Thursday, it gets quite busy.Parking: It's town centre spot so use one of three short stay public car parks less than 5mins away or a long stay within less than 10mins walk.

Not enough spacing between/ poor seating arrangement meant people climbing all over the sofa to reach and exit from a seat behind the sofa, regardless of whether people were sat on the sofa.
