Great food, spolit by being told that we had our table for 90 minutes before we had even sat down. Then being told abruptly by our waitress, that I needed to place my card on the back of the reader to pay. I didn't quite understand so she repeated it again without any account for my feelings. I suffer with acute anxiety, and she made me feel terrible, no doubt she didn't give it another thought, apart from silly old woman, but it ruined my evening

OK food -but experience spoilt by waitress. we arrived 5 mins early for our booked table Before we even sat down -we were told we had the table for 90 mins -fine I get it Friday 2 weeks before Xmas - but not necessary the best welcome. Food was good Waitress was fine -til I paid - she seemed annoyed that I didn't understand that I had to present by card on the back on the card reader - and almost shouted it at me!! I suffer with acute anxiety, and it took a lot to actually go out, her attitude really upset me> Zizi's -please train your staff to be kind and understanding , I am sure you would not tolerate unkind words to your staff, please remember your customers.

Today we placed an order for home delivery. This was a mistake. I ordered Truffle & Pancetta Carbonara pasta. The pasta was not the type indicated on the menu in the photo and not what was served in the restaurant. the pasta was very overcooked, and the mushrooms were such huge and inaccurate pieces. My experience ordering at home was disappointing. It’s better to come to the restaurant itself and then they probably won’t bring you leftovers from yesterday. I had to throw the pasta away.

Food was not great. Spaghetti Carbonara with Chorizo & Pancetta, it was bland and boring, where was the chorizo? I didn’t see any and could not taste any either. Partner had roasted baby new potatoes and green beans with his meal but both were hard, does the chef not put a tip of the knife in the veg to check if it’s done? Obvs not.

Not the best pizza ever but for the uk not too bad. The beer was not so cold but in the contest this is a 6,5 so acceptable, maybe the pasta was better, we will try it next time

This review is for delivered food not the restaurant. Had an order with Zizi. Order was deliver 1.5 later. Called them around 1 hour mark only to be told by Zizi employee it is not there problem. The food looked like it was kicked around, called again only to be told if i do not like it to "go claim it back and don't order".

Came today for lunch, was quiet but the waitress was lovely.All of our food was amazing, little wait between starters and main but you can't complain when it's that good. Pizza was fantastic.Vegetarian options: Arancini and the spicy veggie pizza were amazing.

Food was lovely but the service was incredibly slow. The staff were nice but too few for the number of tables, and we were on top of one another. Disappointing overall.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and had a mixed experience. To start, I tried the courgette frittis as an appetizer. These fried courgette slices had the crisp, golden exterior of french fries with a potato taste but also with an unexpected sweetness that was enjoyable at first bite. However, the sugary flavor became cloying, and I couldn't finish the entire bag. For my entree, the pollo fritti chicken was perfectly cooked with moist, tender meat and well-balanced seasoning. The chicken was a highlight and cooked to succulent perfection. For dessert, I ordered the zillionaire cake, but it arrived partially frozen and icy, with ice chips scattered on top - clearly not at its best. In addition to the main courses, I had also ordered an appletizer drink to accompany the meal. Unfortunately, it exploded and leaked everywhere in transit, creating a big mess in the takeout bag. Taking everything into account, this was an average takeout meal from the restaurant. The flavors showed promise in dishes like the chicken, but the execution was inconsistent, with the poor dessert and spilled drink detracting from the experience. I may give them another chance in the future, but this particular takeout meal had some noticeable flaws.

As a whole experience, we had a nice evening. We had the £23.95 menu which gives you a starter, a main and a pudding. The starter and pizza were lovely however our tiramisu was frozen in the middle. We called the waitress who at first did not seem to believe us but in the end agreed to change our deserts. A small coke is £3.25! Be aware for some bizarre reason you cannot pay by cash! You can in many restaurants, pubs, coffe shops etc but not at zizzi! Not ideal when your card is frozen (I forgot my PIN!)
