Service was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, non-obtrusive. One notable positive was that the waiter communicated with the 9 and 6 year-old children with them directly, not through their parents. That was excellent . The food was also well-cooked and presented. My rib-eye steak was the best I had had for years, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Waiters were fantastic!Kid-friendliness: Waiter conversed directly with the children, not through their parents.

Our fifth visit in two months! As usual our meals were excellent, quality of the food and presentation first class.The staff were welcoming and attentive and despite the restaurant being very busy our wait was minimal and had no adverse effect on our experience.Thoroughly recommended, we will be back again this Sunday!Parking: Loads of spots including allocated disabled bays.

We haven’t been to Fishers Pond for many years. We decided to visit again and wondered why we have not done so before now. Service was great, staff were great, meal was fantastic. Our experience was perfect. Looking forward to returning. We had 2 small children who the staff were fab with.

The service was fantastic. The man who served us was friendly, efficient and entertaining. The food was excellent. Normally everything goes wrong when my Mum comes out for dinner. Everything went without a hitch. The menu catered for vegetarians well. My husband is a chef and said you could tell that the chef here cares about the food they are serving. Six of us ate and every meal was great.

Thr welcome good,staff efficient & polite,layout & atmosphere of restaurant outstanding,drinks very nice,lunch was nice but did air on the side of well done,I had the lamb which was very tough & chewy followed by the crumble which was again was well done not that far off of being burnt,overall experience was ok but wouldn't rush back for Sunday lunch.Parking: Good,plenty of space

We went for a birthday meal, there were 10 of us, none of whom were impressed by the food. We had a very long wait for our order to even be taken, and then an even longer wait for the food. A table that came in after us had their order taken first? 3 of us then had the prawns, all of which were very tough and clearly over cooked, not many there at all either for the £18 paid!!!
