We booked Delhi 39 after seeing the great reviews while staying at the Holiday Inn Eastleigh before our cruise, and we were not disappointed! Took an Uber over and it was absolutely worth it. The food was amazing – every dish was full of flavour and we couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Just a tip: they don’t serve alcohol on the premises, so make sure to bring your own if you’d like a drink with your meal. We’ll definitely be going back again!

I don't write many reviews, so when I do it's because somewhere is one end or other on the scale...
Had to write a review after booking to have a gathering at The Cleveland Bay, to kick off my wife's 50th celebrations.

John, Jade & the team couldn't have been more accommodating, they booked us out the conservatory area and we pre ordered pizzas for our 35 guests.
Everyone raved about the pizza, they were fantastic and were accompanied by (a lot) of chunky chips and some very lovely salad; The team also went the extra mile and cooked some separate flat breads for a guest with gluten intolerance.

All the staff were great fun and friendly, great experience - highly recommended

The fish was freshly cooked. They tell you where the fish comes from, and what kind of potatoes have made your chips.

The food itself was really good. The chips could have been a little bit more crisp, but maybe that's down to the variety! The service was absolutely excellent and prompt with a good estimation of how long it would take to cook it fresh.

I would absolutely have another meal from this place. The batter is crispy. The food is fresh. What more could you want and it's all served with a smile. Do expect to pay for sauces which is completely fair. So order that with your meal if you need or want some

We asked for mayonnaise and an empty bottle was given with " there might be some in there", there was a tiny bit left, but the service was fine apart from that.

This is a Greene King pub and had a good range of both food and drink.Both my wife and I had the Fish & chips with large cut chips, peas, tartare sauce. I went for the round of white cob bread & butter @ £1.79 as well.The meal was hot and came out quite quickly after ordering.The staff where polite & very helpful and the pub clean & tidy.I will definitely try this pub again the next time I am in this area.

An excellent lunchtime visit.
Everything was perfect for the three of us, Food, Staff and in a traditional style pub.
Fed up with all the plastic and chrome which you often meet.
Met on arrival, taken to a table. Drinks and food ordered, Not long to wait. Food on this visit was really hot, tasty and very enjoyable. Not always the case in some establishments.
This visit worthy of SIX STARS.
Many thanks to the team at the Cricketers.

served pretty quickly, staff is very kind and helpful. the single occurrence of something going wrong with my order, they ran up the street after me to give me what was missing (thank you so much for that ?).

the best fried chicken I've ever had for really great prices, overall better value than basically every other place I've tried. it's almost always decently quiet and there's almost always a free seat if you choose to dine in.

The Good Companions is a fantastic pub. The staff are wonderful and the food is very delicious and good portions too! We have had a few family meals there including the use of the upstairs venue room and the pub goes above and beyond to make it special. The pub is welcoming and inclusive - when I support adults with disabilities there, the staff are kind, friendly and take the time to get to know everybody in the group that I support. They are a special bunch of people and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a friendly pub with great food and a warm welcome .

Sunday family evening meal. I have only given the Atmosphere three stars, because at the time of our visit, only two tables were occupied. A couple more tables being occupied would have really brought the restaurant to life. Food and service was excellent. Fantanstic service throughout. I booked the Function Room for 17 persons and Rebecca & Mollie were superb in co-ordinating and serving the meals on time. The food was excellent and very good value for money. I have been to the King Rufus many times and will continue to do so. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere and I recommend this venue to anyone. Once again, many thanks to Rebecca & Mollie for making our evening so special.

I received a flyer from Must Have in my letterbox and had been eyeing it for weeks, debating whether to give it a try, and I’m so glad I finally did!

I placed my order on Easter Monday, and to my surprise, the delivery driver handed me an Easter egg as a gift from the boss. Such a thoughtful gesture, it really made my day. ?

Let me just say, this boss truly is the Boss of Kebabs! The Kofta Kebab wrap was massive and absolutely packed with flavor, every bite better than the last. The chips were a medium portion, but you'd never guess, they were super generous, perfectly crispy, and totally hit the spot.

I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

I've never used this take away before even though I'm local. Read the reviews, some reviews obviously not the best so makes you wonder. Ordered Kung Po chicken and mixed veg rice last night half hour before I got home to Eastleigh. Shop and service was fine.. Order was ready to collect instantly. IMO there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the food, it was fresh clean and flavoursome. I would definitely used them again without hesitation based on this order.

While I understand the importance of customer service and maintaining an open environment, the well-being of your staff should be of utmost priority. Exposing them to such harsh weather conditions without adequate protection, such as fleeces or other appropriate clothing, is not only uncomfortable but also poses a potential health risk.

You should take immediate action to address this issue by providing your staff with suitable attire to ensure their comfort and safety during cold weather. This will not only demonstrate your commitment to employee welfare but also create a more positive and productive work environment. Without them you have no shop!

The staff were doing their best to help customers. Hearing - don't worry it's not a problem, I'll get it sorted - being said to another customer gives a great feeling of care and professionalism.

My large black americano with an extra shot tastes good. Even more so given today's was a freeby for collecting points.

Good Earth in Eastleigh is hands down a great choice for a takeaway — consistently spot on and seriously satisfying.

I went for the mixed starter, which was a great way to kick things off — loads of variety, all cooked perfectly, and full of flavour. Nothing greasy or overdone, just really solid, tasty starters that set the tone.

The roast duck chow mein was a standout, packed with flavour, and perfectly cooked noodles that weren’t oily or clumped together. You can tell it’s made fresh and with care.

And the sweet and sour chicken balls were exactly what you want — crispy, golden batter on the outside with juicy chicken inside. Proper crunch, great portion size, and the sauce was rich and balanced, not overly sweet.

Was made very quickly so I could get in and out easily and have my meal, was still pipping out when I got back to mine to enjoy it in the comfort of my home.

If you’re in Eastleigh and fancy a Chinese, Good Earth is an easy choice. Reliable and seriously tasty — I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I was unsure of the box meal my son has so I went to the counter where a friendly member of staff came to take my order he was very patient friendly and had amazing customer service skills with a gorgeous smile jaydon knew what it was I wanted and also done some of my order to my son's personal preference .ie different sauce and no salad in his chicken fillet burger ? nothing was to much trouble whilst wanting for my order some delivery drivers came in and got a nice welcome and quick service from another happy friendly member of staff mac. He engaged in conversation with me whilst working I may add. I often use this KFC and said new staff a new person josh was putting together the orders working away and then a very pleasant lady think she may have been a team leader or manager her name was Ayesha she made eye contact and smiled i then told her how lovely her staff were. And she thanked me. This was the first time I have been in and out my order was correct and all there .the staff were friendly helpful and knew what they were ment to be doing it was stress free and I just wanted to get some recognition for the lovely team at Eastleigh KFC Mac,Jayden,josh and Ayesha thank you! regards Sarah ?
