What a great pub. They've done the pub out really well. Extension and proper pizza oven. Still a good boozer at the front to sit in. Food was great. Lovely roast dinner ?

This place is spot on. The food , atmosphere and the people are excellent. I would definitely visit again.

There is a sign outside that says breakfast starts from 8.30am. We arrived to only be told that this is a misprint and that the chef doesn't actually arrive until 9am, so we had a 45 minute wait for breakfast. To be honest it is over priced for what you get and mediocre food too. The so-called toast is just dried out white bread with no colour to it other than the black dust falling of the kitchen utensils used to serve it. The sausages were dried up shrivelled up things likely heated up from the day before. We will not be returning.

Catch up with friends., welcome non existent, service cold, no atmosphere & staff bitching ... a negative environment. Heard many sad things about this place, staff turnover, but motivation comes from the top & they don't seem to have a leader.

This pub has a bit of everything. The pizza is delicious and the menu broad and balanced. There are delightful ice creams and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. It has a rear bar suitable for functions and a cosy front bar with dining. The all weather dining-domes outside are about the only good thing to come out of the pandemic! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating.I highly recommend stopping by or considering the venue for group bookings and events too.My favourite pub... Just wish it was walking distance from my house ;-)

Very friendly staff and met up with friends for Christmas catch up. Very noisy and had to ask to be moved as couldn’t hear ourself speak but we liked the table but moved right to back on a bench which ruined my jumper where it got caught and got pulled. mentioned to staff and took pictures and landlord was going to contact me but didn’t. I’m ordered the pie which was nice but the seasonal veg was about 4 or 5 slices of carrot and about 5 sprouts which were bland and felt that they had been reheated and quite tough. I also asked for roast potatoes as not a lover of mash and they were generous with that but unfortunately tasted reheated but very Luke warm.

Visited here several times and have never been disappointed.... Pizzas are freshly baked and ate better than any I have had from Prezzo etc... Staff great, service always good, and priced very fairly.... especially lunchtime specials... Once again don't understand the bad reviews...can only state as I see it,and will keep going back And no...have no association with anyone at the venue, just like to see fair reviews...Roy Young
