Walked in and everyone stared at me and went quiet. Just wasn’t made to feel welcome. Greeting cards were quite expensive and they only take cash. Cross Kitchen in the square is much more welcoming if you’d like a coffee and catch up with friends.

A very eccentric place. Coffee from a machine, (passable) one sofa and a few tiny tables and chairs (uncomfortable). Walls are covered with tatty yellow fabric. At the back a reasonable selection of greetings cards. But the chap running it, and absolute treasure!!!!

Lovely lady who served us, but £2.50 each for a cup of cold froth was a bit much. We should have said something but didn’t. Please coffee bar staff, do check the temperature of coffees served and ensure they contain coffee! Would visit again and make sure we say something

Rude foul mouthed owner, not fit to interact with the public, keep away.

Great coffee. Unusual, quirky place. It's great. Has best selection of cards for any occasion that I have seen anywhere.

Simply delightful shop where we bought delicious Italian sweet pastries. Just incredible, can’t wait to go back very soon!

Very nice small shop to have a very good coffee, in random tables and chairs, surrounded by an amazing choice of cards! Cosy, quirky and well worth a visit.

My brother and I walked past this cafe and decided to pop in for a coffee and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious, not too bland or too sweet. My brother loved his coffee. We also decided to sample some of the lovely Italian biscuits and pastries. Amazing!Loretta was extremely welcoming and very charming. We will definately pay another visit when we are next in Emsworth. I just cannot understand why you would go to one of the chain coffee shops when you can support a local independent coffee shop whose owner at least pays their way in taxes !!A proper gem this coffee bar. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Went in for a coffee, birthday card and papers this morning, no chips and pin only cash which I didn't have! The Italian lady was lovely, I popped over to co OP and got some bananas and cash. The coffee and company was fabulous and a lovely atmosphere in there, would definitely recommend.

Great coffee, and snuck in a slice of lemon drizzle cake whilst listening to Italian music!

I feel so blessed by Tom for his hospitality and generosity. The coffee, the atmosphere, the joy and the smile in this cafe is tremendous! Definitely a gem in the town and it is such an international friendly place!
