33 North St, EmsworthRecommended to have a kebab from here and they were so right. Chicken shish was cooked perfectly not dry at all very succulent and the chips nice and crispy not greasy. Will definitely be back or order for delivery but will definitely be eating from here again

The Lord Raglan
35 Queen St, EmsworthOur first visit to the Lord Raglan. Seems a nice pub and will probably visit again next time in Emsworth. We had one quick drink and left as the live band, Furry Lemons jazz band were playing pretty dreary music for a Friday night.

Hotel (prev Jingles, Behind The, 77 Horndean Rd, EmsworthExcellent poached eggs on toast and coffee, on morning dog walk. Outside area dog friendly. Have eaten here before and as ever the chefs are top quality, and prices reasonable. Nice setting, and good swift service. Would recommend.

Emsworth Yacht Harbour, Thorney Rd, EmsworthI would really recommend The Deck for a ligh lunch or breakfast. Service by the manager was great, and this was reflected by the bustle on a Monday morning. Sandwich melts were excellent. We'd definitely come back.

325 Main Rd, Southbourne, EmsworthCalled in for Sunday roast. Between us we had 2x roast chicken and a roast beef. Both delicious, portion size great. Added cauliflower cheese side for £3.50 which was a bargain - the portion was enough for all 3 of us. Also added the pork, sage and onion stuffing balls in gravy which were one of the most amazing things any of us have ever eaten - again single portion was enough for all 3. Then had sticky toffee pudding with custard - huge and delicious - and warm chocolate brownie with iced cream, also wonderful. Great music gave a great atmosphere, along with attentive service.

1 The Grove, Westbourne, EmsworthBeen using these guys for the last 17/18 years or so as they’re my regular chippy.
Witnessed some great customer service from Grace this evening whilst she was dealing with a couple of disgruntled, impatient and downright rude women who couldn’t seem to understand that for a busy Saturday night on payday weekend they might have to wait a bit for their food as it’s cooked fresh.
Really well handled by the team.
Also food went down a treat!! Thank you!
Best chippy in the area!
Also a major selling point is they do veggie battered sausages! In the last 20 years of not eating meat I’ve only ever come across 2 places that do this!

47 South St, EmsworthWe visited the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time and we did not really know what to expect. On a sunny Saturday lunch time in August we thought that the place would be full, judging by the amount of positive reviews written about it. It wasn't. We were the first people in and by the time we left much later, only another three tables were occupied. Let's talk about the good bits first. The food was faultless, well presented, cooked and seasoned. We had chosen the "a la carte" menu and, not being big eaters this was just right for us. Nice touches with the "amuse-bouche" which were not expected and complimentary. The service was also faultless. We were given the right kind of attention throughout our meal. Now the "not so good" bits. There was no atmosphere to speak of, regardless of the fact that all the tables were close, too close. Giving each one a little bit of extra room would be a good idea. There was an extensive use of flowers on our plates. Is the chef trying too hard ? Three different types of butter served. too much ! We left the restaurant the best part of £200 poorer for two of us, without "going mad"" on the alcohol ( one glass of wine each) and the chef did not even come out of his kitchen to introduce himself ! Would we go back ? The jury is out on this one.

Dont think its completely the landladies fault.
You middle men that we legally got rid of in the 80's are back and taking the micky again.
Beware, you will loose your clientele if you are not careful, it's already happening.
Why can I buy a pint in the midlands and the north for £3 or less but in the south it £5 or more? Answer me that.

The food was fresh and piping hot; and the portion sizes were ample. In the past, they did seem to lack a little consistency, so I am hoping this high quality - experienced recently - will continue into the future.

24 High St, EmsworthSuperb roast dinner today, I had the trio of roasts, chicken, roast beef and honey riast gammon. My girlfriend had the gammon and we shared a cauli cheese.
We ordered promptly and didn’t have to wait long at all for our fantastic food. Everything was on point and you could tell it was fresh.
Amazing roasties, honey roasted carrots and parsnips. And the meat was cooked to perfection.
Great atmosphere, very welcoming and great food. Highly recommended.

42 High St, EmsworthMy food was delivered quickly & was piping hot. Delicious BBQ spare ribs, sesame prawn toast, shredded chilli beef & Singapore chow mein ? I have no criticism with the food or service but, they really need to update their website. They offer free delivery if order is over £18 & in a 3 mile radius but don't, because it's an old website. Delivery cost isn't much, but that's not the point. They also have an option to offer feedback, but it doesn't work ? Apart from that, I was very happy with my food ☺️

High St, EmsworthHi I’m Stephen ,,and I recently went into Loretta’s coffee bar out of curiosity having walked passed it many times before ,,wow what a pleasant surprise,,this place is a littje gem with amazing people going to it plus the owner who is Italian and very very pleasant and friendly,,we had a lovely chat about Italy which I had visited many times as a boy with my late parents, and we compared notes ,,of our experiences of the wonderful country .Loretta’s is a breath of fresh air and quirky and fun and I will definitely be returning soon on my next visit to Emsworth ,, do yourselves a favour abd do the same ,,

On the evening of 30/7/25 have to mention Reece who served our table of 5, the service given I would challenge if you could find better. Such a pleasant and helpful guy, he couldn’t have done more to make our experience perfect.

The Flint Barn, South St, EmsworthThe best customer service. I dropped my ID while I was waiting in the queue and didn’t realise I’d lost it - they posted it back to me with a sweet note attached. Thank you for going above and beyond. It was such a busy day so very impressed they noticed and took the time to send it back to me. Ice cream was amazing too! X

The King's Arms

Overall - a positive experience.
The three for £15 range of starters was well received by our party - we can particularly recommend the whitebait.
The main courses were also pleasing in terms of quality and portion size, though prices were not particularly cheap. What was pleasing - however - was the pub's effort to mix pub classics with gastropub options. Something for everyone, I feel.
The service was friendly and the atmosphere was jovial.

Food was amazing, service was good. Didn't wait long for starters or main and was tasty!
Staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and when asked, bagged up the left overs for my dog, exactly as asked!!! Great food, great local friendly environment, would highly recommend to family or friends passing through the area
