I put the wrong fuel in my car and had to wait for hours to be rescued. The lovely man working in the service station was kind and caring offering reassurance, coffee and water.He really went above and beyond to make sure I was ok and safe.He made a nightmare situation much easier to deal with. Thank you!

Reported a member of staff who was extremely rude to me. He never spoke and just stared at me while I was trying to pay. He didn't take payment. He seemed incapable of doing his role. Such a strange experience, shell don't really seem to care. They say budgens are the franchisee owner and kind of wash their hands of the situation. Don't shop here!

A great place for a truck, peace and quiet, and you can buy whatever you need for free at the station.

Never any pumps working, coffee machines have been broken for weeks now and for a "quick pit stop" it ends up taking me around 20 minutes just to find a working pump and get a coffee.

Shell working staff is very rude to clients. Person working today afternoon was very rude and not paying attention to clients. Staff should be charged for sure.

Had to stop for food for work early this morning. Man behind the counter never scanned my items then overcharged me by nearly £5 . He argued with me and then said he couldn’t bring my items up on the till because he said he couldn’t get back into the till now it’s closed Added the items up 4 or 5 times with him and he wouldn’t accept his error even tho my adding was correct. Was very difficult to communicate with him as he obviously had a hearing disability. My money never went through the till and he was stumbling over how to explain it. At that point a man behind me became very irate So I decided to quit the discussion. All I got in the end was £1.05 change. Which was nowhere near enough. I gave up in the end because the guy was impossible to talk to. Morale of the story … always get a receipt. Strange , I always go in there and he always asks if I want a receipt …. But this time he never asked and he never gave me one. Shan’t be going there againAlso, the link Shell gives you below this comment is almost impossible to access anyone in the complaints department so nothing said in the reviews will be acted upon

Shell card declined twice then worked due to new system. Tried to them buy some chocolate with contactless payment and declined twice even though there’s plenty in the account. I left the chocolate there and said how disappointed I was with the visit. They said don’t bother coming back. Too many staff behind the counter who haven’t got a clue and lack manners.
