We were pet sitting in Emsworth for a month and stepped in to The Ship Inn on our second day. We were back six times in the month. Implied satisfaction, YES. Rose was at the top of the service pyramid but everyone was top notch. Our food was always good and plentiful ranging from a great cheeseburger to jacket potatoes the ribs.

Great lovely pub in an Ideal Emsworth location, tried a few things off the menu and I've enjoyed it all so far. Staff really good at what they do and they give it a very family feeling there. Weekends are nice and busy with live music, good atmosphere all round. Spacious garden , lots of different TV for sports nights. Thoroughly enjoyable place to be ❤️

Myself and friends enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch. Fabulous quality food, great service. Wouldn’t have previously considered this pub for lunch but can thoroughly recommend and will definitely return! !

Tried our usual locals in Havant and Emsworth but they were booked for Sunday Roast. Popped into the Ship Inn and they had a table available. We did not know at the time that it was a sports bar. Very noisy, but accepted it was what it was. we ordered Chicken wings as a starter and two roast beefs. Waited a while for the food to be served which did not bother us. However, when our roast beef was served, we asked what had happened to the chicken wings to share and were told they were on their way. We clearly ordered them as as a starter, not a main. The waitress dealt with it very well and once we had explained, she sorted out the refund. Having tried many Sunday Roasts around the area, I have to say this roast was the best ever. Very crispy roast potatoes and all cooked freshly. Good portions of beef and vegetables and good value for money. Would I go back ? YES for the food but too much football themed for us, especially with some of the customers who spoke so loudly about a football game that we could not hear ourselves talk, it was so boring, they blocked up the aisle/walkway and despite the staff asking several times for them to sit at a table, they ignored the staff. Lovely food but the customers this pubs attracts is not what we would want to experience again.

Had a large gathering for a Birthday here, we all had roast dinners. The bar staff were all great! Kerry behind the bar worked hard so all our tables and orders were served together. It made the day really special the food was great and the atmosphere super

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Great beef, homemade gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Some things I would recommend -Change musicDon’t have different types of veg / potatoes - only adds to prep for chef and no real added value for customer. All in all great and we will be back!ThanksJimmy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Used to like this pub, unfortunately recently it is just full of kids and staff who act like they don't want to be there. The last few times I have visited a fight has broken out. Such a
