So much better than a year ago when we last visited Bills in Southampton and they were offering a very limited menu. The menus are now extensive, offering a variety of choice and good quality food. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive , especially Grace who couldn't be more helpful. Although we thought a glass of 175ml wine was a bit overpriced at around £8 each, we will definitely be returning again soon.

Lovely atmosphere, indoors and outside seating. Avoid the chorizo salad special, it's not good and the portion was very small. Service charge was automatically billed and no one asked if we wanted to take it off, although service was good. Also make sure to get UNiDAYS if your a student, it takes 20% off!

Good ambience, vast choice of food, and all day brunch until 5pm. Staff are attentive. Convenient for cinema. Recommend booking as queues can be long otherwise.
Enjoyed the Garden breakfast. Had a nice spot outside on this visit which added to the nice relaxed morning experience.

Overall was pretty happy with our visit. I ordered the avocado on sour dough which comes with poached eggs. Although I'm not allergic I have an intolerance with eggs and requested for these to be removed and added halloumi instead. My meal arrived with eggs and it was just a bit disappointing as I made it very clear for no eggs. My partner took these off my plate as I didn't want to cause a fuss and just wanted to eat but was then advised it wouldn't be chargeable when someone came to the table to apologise again... i didn't really understand what this meant as eggs is included and was on my bill and I still had to pay the extra for halloumi. Felt a bit rushed to be in and out of this restaurant but the decor is gorgeous and the food is good. Always very busy so it's popular.
