Will I eat and drink there again? 'Yes blooming, please.'I'll be back shortly for the homemade Rabbit pie.

Lovely place in Fareham, beautifully fitted out. Rather cramped though. We had americano coffee which was not very nice, quite bitter as though it had been standing a while. Their pies and savoury slices looked wonderful and were served with a lovely mixed salad but, the dressing was very sweet, the savoury pies and slices , although tasty, had lost their crispness due to being microwaved ?. I thought it expensive and the service very slow. Unlikely to return.

Lovely and cosy place with excellent food and staff. I booked a high tea for my mums birthday, the staff were so accommodating and friendly - best afternoon tea I've had. Highly recommend.

Amazing lunch, gorgeous pies and pastry's. They adapted the menu to cater for my little daughter and niece's. And of course we had to try the cakes on display which were also delicious.

Just came back from lunch. I will not recommend this place to vegans and vegetarians, there's exactly one vegetarian option and no vegan ones. You can get a gluten-free bread, though.I had a weird interaction with one member of staff after coming out of the toilet. She asked me about what sauce I'd like with my eggs and since I didn't order any sauce, I didn't know what she was talking about. I was told off for that, interestingly. My hot chocolate was cold by the time I ate my muffin, and I'm not the one to talk while I eat, that's my partner. I almost snorted it in - I was that hungry! Cold drink which cost me over £5 was left on the table and when we shared that with staff while paying we only got a 'sorry' in return.Plus, our table was sticky and the only music we heard was Ed Sheeran's.The meal was nice and served pretty quickly. After leaving £25 for the meal, I feel like three stars are pretty generous.

The steak and ale pie was horrible and warm pie with cold salad doesn’t really go. Supposed to be dog friendly but then I was told I need to sit in the window area away from other people so either it’s dog friendly it’s

Love this place. It was closed for a while as they had a flood. But it is back now as strong as ever. A real treasure.

With a bill of 3.50 how come an extra fee for using a debit card? That would have equated to 15% of the spend, never heard of this before,is that even legal? I paid cash and won’t be going back.

Had a lovely lunch, with good gluten free options both for sandwiches and cake (very important!!!!). The service is excellent, very friendly and efficient.

Lovely, quick lunch served by lovely ladies. I had broccoli and Stilton quiche with salad, and it was delicious. This is a great independent cafe and I will be back

What a gorgeous little bistro! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Food appears all home made and tasted wonderful. Portion sizes are spot on. Need to try the cakes next time I visit. Great service and great food.

Nice food and coffee, but the cafe charged me 50p for using a debit card on a bill below £10. I don’t know companies were allowed to do this. In addition, I did not see a notice about the charge and if dining alone a bill may often be below £10. Although door and drink were good, I will not visit again
