“The only problem with this restaurant was it’s too far away from me. I live nr Manchester and was visiting family hence the visit. I’m no Chinese cuisine connoisseur but I do frequent Chinatown in Manchester and La Orient was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. From the dim sum starter including their special prawn balls, to the ribs and the crispy duck, everything was quality.Every main dish including prawn kung po to the crispy chilli beef was polished off by all of us, and best of all, it’s owned and run by a lovely family who are warm and hospitable. Can’t fault it, 5* throughout and the only complaint is I’m too far away to enjoy it more often!”
