Been here numerous times with family members for lunch or dinner. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, whilst the atmosphere is pleasant - which puts a family member who has special needs at ease. The food is nice, although some of the dishes fall on the smaller side.Parking: Large parking lot just behind the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair users into the venue and lots of space on ground floor

Bethany was the most tentative and amazing host. Was always there when we needed and even bought drinks over when she noticed one of us was out. Totally recommend her and she deserves the utmost respect. Best

Prior to the meal we put in our orders, one friend left her mobile to be contacted about gluten and dairy free options. Nobody got in touch, so she had to call the morning of the meal to sort it out.The waiting staff were good.However the food was terrible, the steaks were not cooked correctly and the cut was so bad most of us gave up eating them.Two entire cocktails were split all over my friend and her coat. They bought blue roll over but she ended up with our help cleaning it up. We had to go out of our way to get them to pay for the dry cleaning bill. Although the manager took some money off the bill, we still paid £17 each for food most of us couldn't eat. She was reluctant to come to an arrangement and not very customer friendly.Then for dessert it was decorated ice lollies, which just felt rushed. I could have bought those from a supermarket, not anything special to have on a Christmas meal.Overall I wouldn't recommend or come back. The whole saga left people feeling frustrated and put a low mood on the rest of the night.

Went there the evening of 12th Dec 23 approx 2230 ish. I ordered a pint of inches cider. £5.30. which I paid for with my card. Then apparently the card machine stopped working. I was told the transaction hadn't gone through. I proceeded to show the bar staff that the transaction was pending on my actual bank account. I was told no, that won't go through and can I pay for the pint with cash. Which I did. I was assured that it wouldn't come out. I asked for a receipt. Which they couldn't provide for the pending transaction, but provided me with one for the cash transaction. The pending transaction did go out and I've called 3 times leaving voice messages asking for someone to return my call as no one was answering and could only leave answer machine message. I wouldn't normally leave negative review. But I feel as the issue wasn't my fault and a tech issue. I don't see why I had to pay twice for 1 pint. £10.60 for a cider and have been unable to get the refund I was told I could. I was the first customer apparently the card machine failed on. The supervisor/manager was called down and he did turn up quickly. But the gentleman that served me assured me it hadn't gone through. Just be careful.

I came in for a brunch over the weekend and was served by Bethany!She was so accommodating and made sure that our glasses were never empty, the food that was cooked my chef mark and chef Conor was fantastic. I will be recommending this slug and lettuce to all of my friends and will be back

So me and my best friend booked in for bottomless brunch and had a lovely surprise that it was themed and we were living for the 90’s boyband vibe!! The lady who sat us was absolutely brilliant, kitting us out with our props!! Our actual server Mikey was just the best, always keeping our drink orders topped up and making the experience even more amazing. We had an amazing time at S&L Fareham yesterday and we can’t wait for the next one!! Thank you Mikey and the rest of the S&L team for a great day ?
